#HowtheGrinchStoleChristmas! is a children's story by Theodor Dr. Seuss Geisel written in rhymed verse with illustrations by the author. It follows #theGrinch a grouchy, solitary creature, his only companion is his unloved, but loyal dog, Max. The #Grinch attempts to put an end to Christmas by stealing Christmas-themed items from the homes of the nearby town Whoville on Christmas Eve. Despite his efforts, Whoville's inhabitants still celebrate the holiday, so the Grinch returns everything that he stole and is the guest of honor at the Whos' Christmas dinner.
The #CatintheHat is a children's story that centers on a tall anthropomorphic cat, who wears a red and white-striped hat and a red bow tie. The Cat shows up at the house of Sally and her unnamed brother one rainy day when their mother is away. Ignoring repeated objections from the children's fish, the Cat shows the children a few of his tricks in an attempt to entertain them.

This video was made due to Springfield, Massachusetts Downtown Main St. not showing up when I searched it in youtube. I did find some videos about Springfield Gangs, shootings ,Rap(no offense I was from N.Y. and I love the hood too)and one in particulr from a guy who drove by while filming, he just drove by without a word or a caption in his video. Another guy driving was caught in what seemed to be a youth street fight till someone started shooting.The driver that was filming took off terified. But I didn't find anything about Main Street.Well sorry I think I saw a video from this guy who did pass by talking about springfield and he did pass by Main St. Nice guy, he was talking about history I think. I can be wrong though. I also made it cause it made me sad to realize that everything around me was changing without me even realizing.Only upon the editiing of this video did I noticed that there were buildings mising and memories forever lost.Maybe someone out there can tell me more about this place,I only been here about ten years.Yes I already know it's Crime Ridden but that doesn't make it a less historic place. I think is just fine for me.Sorry I didn't know too much about every building I passed,I tried.

Springfield Museums Rare Find | Connecting Point | Jan. 2, 2014
Stored on a shelf for over 100 hundred years, a rare anthropological treasure was recently discovered in the Springfield Science Museum's permanent collections. Originally cataloged as an Aleutian hat, the artifact had been preserved in museum collections for over a century before being identified last month as a war helmet from the Tlingit people of Alaska. Beautifully carved and with much of the original paint still visible, the helmet is one of a relatively small number in existence worldwide. Dave Stier, Director of the Springfield Science Museum, and Dr. Ellen Savulis, Curator of Anthropology, Springfield Science Museum explain more about this exciting discovery.

Exploring the Springfield Armory National Historic Site
This is a recording/slideshow I made while at the Springfield Armory National Historic Site in August of 2019. Being raised in Western Massachusetts, I’ve visited the Armory dozens of times throughout my childhood and early adulthood. It fundamentally began my fascination with firearms.
The Armory first came into use in 1777 when Gen. Washington scouted the site as a possible storage site for large amounts of gunpowder, cannonballs, and other firearm-related supplies. The site had been used by local militia as a parade and practice ground since before King Philips War. Situated on the Connecticut River, it was in an ideal position, and therefore the “Arsenal at Springfield” was approved for use by Washington.
In 1787, Daniel Shays, an American Revolutionary veteran, attempted to raid the Arsenal with a group of other armed men. They were rebelling due to their dissatisfaction with pay disputes arising from the American Revolutionary War. The militia ultimately crushed the rebels, and some of them were tried for treason. The event helped to show that the then governing document of the United States, the Articles of Confederation, and helped lead to the establishment of our current form of Federal government under the Constitution.
In 1793, now President Washington established the Springfield Armory as the United States first and foremost manufacturer of firearms for the American military. The first firearm made at the Armory was the 1795 Model Musket, which was based heavily on the Charleville Musket used by France for more than 100 years.
The Armory went on to provide the arms used by the United States military until 1968, when it was shut down in favor of private manufacturers. The Armory is now a National Historic Site and holds not only the wares made by the Armory over the years, but also a vast collection of foreign arms, such as from Germany, Britain, France, and Japan, among many others.
