*About the Stockyard Camp (
Stockyard Camp is a small grassy campground set in native bushland near the park entrance, 30km from Tidal River. There is no beach access from the campground but Whisky Bay is a short drive away.
* Campsites
There are 20 good sized sites suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Each site accommodates a maximum of 8 people. Sites are unpowered.
FacilitiesThere are picnic tables, a sheltered area, hot showers and flush toilets.
WaterUntreated water is available and should be treated before drinking.
CookingSolid fuel fires and generators are not permitted.
Bookings Advance bookings and payment are required year round. Bookings are charged per campsite.

Squeaky Beach (Wilsons Promontory National Park) is a well-known national park featuring a scenic beach of quartz sand that squeaks when walked upon. One of the Prom's iconic locations, the rounded grains of quartz sand make a 'squeak' when walked on. Squeaky Beach can be accessed by vehicle from the Squeaky Beach carpark or via short walks from Lilly Pilly Gully carpark, Picnic Bay or Tidal River.
Wilsons Prom, VIC | Climbing Mt Oberon for Sunrise plus a three day hike!
We climb to the top of Mount Oberon for sunrise! We then threw on our backpacks and hit the trails of Wilsons Prom for a three day hike to Sealers Cove, Refuge Cove, Waterloo Bay, and Oberon Bay.
Wilsons Promontory (or Wilsons Prom for short) is located in the Gippsland region of southern Victoria and is host to some of the most beautiful coastal walks in Australia.
On this three day hike we walked over 40kms, and camped at Sealers Cove, Little Waterloo Bay and Tidal River.
