Mr. P. Explores... Squire's Castle (Willoughby Hills, Ohio)
In this episode of Mr. P. Explores, we head out to the east side of Cleveland, to the suburb of Willoughby Hills and the North Chagrin Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks, to take a look at a pretty amazing piece of Cleveland history; Squire's Castle. Built in 1897 by a heavy-hitter in the Standard Oil Company, the building and tourist attraction now known as Squire's Castle was built as only the gatehouse for an extremely wealthy Clevelander's proposed estate. Add in a ghost story and some beautiful architecture in Romanesque Revival style, and you've got quite a place worth visiting! Enjoy the tour, leave behind a like and/or comment and keep on exploring! -Mr. P.

Squires Castle: The Movie
Squire's Castle is a shell of a building located in the North Chagrin Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. It was built in the 1890s by Feargus B. Squire for use as the gatekeeper's house for his future country estate, which was never built. Squire, an executive with the Standard Oil Company, bought the surrounding 525 acres of land but never completed the project. Squire sold the property in 1922 and the Cleveland Metroparks acquired it in 1925.

Squire's Castle with Nest & Eggs in the Tower - Drone Ohio - Willoughby, Ohio - Cleveland MetroParks
Located in the North Chagrin Reservation, of the Cleveland MetroParks, Squire's Castle is a very unique and fun place to visit. Originally built in 1890 by Fergus B. Squire as the gatehouse of a future larger castle, his family used it mainly in the summers for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. You'll see in the video, there is a nest (now decomposed) in the tower, with one egg still within it's perimeter, and a 2nd egg that has nearly rolled off the tower. There was originally 3 eggs total, and I have no clue what has become of the missing egg.

Squires Castle Willoughby, Oh EMF Spikes POS Crew
This is the POS Crew running a paranormal operation in Squire's Castle in Willoughby, OH. This video shows intelligent responses to the questions being asked through the EMF meter with the spikes we received. The spirit we were calling out to communicate with confirmed it was Feargus B. Squire whom we addressed as Mr. Squire out of respect. Please no nasty comments, we are just sharing this with fellow paranormal fans or investigators. Also don't listen for EVPs because there are too many people in the background contaminating anything possible EVPs. as said in the video, just pay attention to the EMF meter and the noises it makes indicating a spike. Thanks for watching.

This is a montage of photos and videos that I've taken of Squire's Castle in the North Chagrin Reservation (in Willoughby Hills) of the Cleveland (Ohio) Metroparks.
This castle shell was supposed to be a gatehouse for a large country estate to be built by Feargus Squire, one of the founders of the Standard Oil Company in the late 1800s. (The large estate was never built.)
