AMPM Live : విశాఖజిల్లాలోని ప్రముఖ ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రదేశాల్లో మాడుగుల మోదకొండమ్మ అమ్మవారి దేవస్థానానికి ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపు ఉంది. ఇక్కడి అమ్మవారు శతాబ్దాల నుంచి గిరిజన దేవతగా విశేష పూజలందుకుంటున్నారు. వి.మాడుగుల గ్రామంలో అమ్మ రూపం లేని ఇళ్లు మనకు కనపడదు అంటే అతిశయోక్తి కాదు. అమ్మ దివ్య మంగళ స్వరూపాన్ని దర్శించే ప్రతి భక్తుడి మోములో మోదం తొణికిసలాడుతుంది. మోదం అంటే సంతోషం... భక్తులకు సదా సంతోషాన్ని.. భోగభాగ్యాలను అందించే దేవత కావడంతో అమ్మవారు మోదకొండమ్మగా పిలువబడుతున్నారు. తొలుత గిరిజన ప్రజల ఇలవేల్పుగా పూజింపబడిన అమ్మవారు... ఆలయ అభివృద్ధి జరగడంతో క్రమేణా అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రజలకు చేరువయ్యారు.

AMPM Live : ఉత్తరాంధ్ర ఇలవేల్పు విశాఖ జిల్లా మాడుగుల శ్రీ మోదకొండమ్మ జాతర మంగళవారం ఘనంగా జరిగింది. తెల్లవారు జాము నుండి భక్తులు అమ్మ వారిని దర్శించుకునేందుకు బారులు తీరారు. భక్తులకు ఆలయ కమిటి అధ్యక్షుడు పుప్పాల అప్పలరాజు నేతృత్వంలో కమిటీ, పోలీసులు భక్తులకు ఎటువంటి అసౌకర్యం కలగకుండా ఏర్పాట్లు చేసారు. సాయంత్రం సతకంపట్టు వద్ద నుండి అమ్మ వారి ఊరేగింపు ప్రారంభం అయ్యింది. నేల, బండి వేషాలు ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి. కోట బయలు వద్ద భారీగా మందుగుండి సామగ్రి కాల్చారు. వివిధ సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు అలరించాయి. అమ్మ వారి జాతర సందర్భంగా విచ్చేసిన భక్తులకు పైలా ప్రసాదరావు యువసేన ప్రతినిధులు మజ్జిగను ఉచితంగా సరఫరా చేసారు. ఉదయమే మొబైల్ వ్యాన్ తో మజ్జిగ సరఫరా చేపట్టి పైలా యువసేన ప్రతినిధులు వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుంచి వచ్చిన భక్తులకు సేద తీర్చారు. వాసవీ క్లబ్ సంస్థ అన్నసమారాధన కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించింది

మోదకొండమ్మ శాకంబరి దేవిగా భక్తులకు దర్శనమిచ్చారు. సుమారుగా 80 రకాల కూరగాయలు , పళ్ళు పూలతో అమ్మవారిని అలంకరించారు. దీనికోసం మొత్తం మూడు టన్నుల కూరగాయలను ఉపయోగించారు. మహా హారతి అనంతరం భక్తులను దర్శనానికి అనుమతి ఇచ్చారు ఆయల అదికారులు. దీంతో ఆలయ పరిసరాలు భక్తులతో కిటకిటలాడాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సాయంత్రం 6 గంటల వరకు అమ్మవారి దర్శనానికి అనుమతిస్తున్నట్లు ఆలయ కమిటీ వారు తెలిపారు. తిరిగి ఉదయం ఎనిమిది గంటలకు సంప్రోక్షణ తర్వాత భక్తులకు మోదకొండమ్మ అమ్మవారిని ని దర్శనాన్ని కల్పించనున్నారు.
