Sri Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple,https://maps.app.goo.gl/bG6SX
The Mopidevi temple is situated at a distance of nearly 70 km's from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. It is well connected by buses and trains from many parts of the country. Four Deva Rishis viz., Sankara, Sanakasa, Sanatkumara, and Sanatsujata are known for their un-wavering devotion and saintly knowledge. They are immoral and always appear at the age of five years to others. They remained so detached from the awareness of worldly matters that they remain naked without covering their bodies. Once, they came to Kailas, the abode of Lord Shiva to worship Him. At the same time, Sachi Devi, Swaha Devi, Goddess Saraswathi and Goddess Lakshmi also arrived.
Sri Sudarshana Bhoo Varahaswamy Temple, Secunderabad, Telangana
Our Goal is to trace all Temples in India those stood neglected and bring them to the notice of the devotees seeking their support by all means to revive them so as to preserve the cultural heritage of the country.
At the outset, we have begun with the temples across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states which are ancient with unparallel historical background but remained hidden in spite of having rare kind of structural engineering that kept them distinguished from others.
We are trying our best to unveil the history, secrets and facts regarding those temples. We are quite ambitious to cover all the temples in India and be proud to be part of their development by bringing them back to limelight by facing the challenges of change facilitated by time.
It is an earnest appeal from our side to make us successful in this mission by following regularly this website and giving us suggestions.

Ganapathi Temple,Secunderabad,Telangana
Sri Ganapathi Devalayam at Secunderabad deserves a special mention in terms of its architectural grandedur and spiritual sanctity. As per the History of Temple, Lord Ganapathi was found out in 1824 by the Madras Regiment S0ldiers, while they were digging a well of portable water there. With great devotion, the Sepoys consecrated the idol and installed it in an architecturally marvellous temple, built according to Aagama Sastra. This temple is situated just beneath Secunderabad Railway Station and about 2 KM from R. T.C. Bus-stand. This temple is now acclaimed as one of the prominent temples in the Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, enthralling the devotees with its rare spiritual ambience. It is also said that the Icons of Sri Navagraha Valli Deva Sena Sametha Sri Subrahmanya Swamy and Sri Anjaneya Swamy were consecrated and installed in the vicinity of Sri Ganapathi Devalayam in 1932.
From time immemorial,Temples in India have been pioneering Centres, spreading spiritual messages and propagating the unique cultural and civilizational values of ancient India. Among such ancient and holy temples, Devaiay&mui Secunderabaii deserves a special mention in terms of its architectural grandedur and spiritual sanctity.
Again, in the year I960, the temple underwent extension so as to accommodate the ever¬growing influx of devotees for the Lord’s darshan. The Ganapathi Devalayam was taken over by the Department of Endowments, Andhra Pradesh in 1968. The architectural splendour and spiritual sanctify of the temple is not only kept in- tact, but also a number of such constructional activities – as housing Sri Uma Maheswari Alayam in the vicinity of the temple and building the Maha Mantapam and the Vimana and Raja gopurams (pinnacles of the temple over the sanctuary) have been taken up, thereby making the temple a *Centre of Spiritual and Religious pursuits’.
The icon of Lord Vinayaka is consecrated daily in the morning with Panchamruthabhishekam by renowned Archakas and rendered pujas in adherence to the Vedic injunctions. Every year, on the occasion of* Vinayaka ChaturthV, the idol of Lord Ganapathi is worshipped in conformity with the Mahanyasa and Vedic traditions. Till the day of immersion of the sacred idol of Lord Ganapathi, a Nine-Night long celebration of the festival (Nava Rathri) is held during which, traditional dance performances, recital of Harikatha, Purana Pravachanam and music concerts by the well-known artistes are conducted with great gaiety and piety.
. The construction of Maha Mandapam, Satakaram, the carving of Sri Smodasa Ganapami and the Mahadwara reflecting the architectural style and Mil of the Kakateeyas, fascinate mnHons of devotees and pilgrims reminding them of the pristine purity of Andhra culture and civilization.
The presiding Deity of this Temple — Lord Ganapathi is known for his boundless benevolence in fulfilling the wishes of the devotees who throng this temple day in and day out through-out the year. During me last two decades, the temple’s popularity has steadily increased along with the income because of lot of developmental activities taken up.

Ayyappan
Ayyappa is the Hindu god of growth, particularly popular in Kerala. He is a synthetic deity, the son of Shiva and Mohini – the female avatar of Vishnu. Ayyappan is also referred to as Ayyappa, Sastavu, Hariharaputra, Manikanta, Shasta or Dharma Shasta.
The iconography of Ayyappan depicts him as a handsome celibate god doing yoga and as an epitome of Dharma, who wears a bell around his neck. In the Hindu pantheon, his legends are relatively recent but diverse. For some, he is also an incarnation of the Buddha. He is honored by some Muslims in Kerala, with legends wherein Ayyappan defeats and gains worship of the Muslim brigand Vavar. In the Hindu tradition popular in the Western Ghats of India, he was born with the powers of Shiva and Vishnu to confront and defeat the shape shifting evil Buffalo demoness Mahishasuri. He was raised by a childless royal couple, and grows up as a warrior yogi champion of ethical and dharmic living. In the South Indian version, Ayyappan images show him as riding a tiger, but in some places such as Sri Lanka he is shown as riding a white elephant.
Ayyappan popularity has grown in many parts of India, and the most prominent Ayyappan shrine is at Sabarimala, nestled in the hills of Pathanamthitta of Kerala. The shrine receives millions of pilgrims every year in late December and early January, many of whom prepare for weeks before and then climb the hill barefoot, making it one of the largest active pilgrimage sites in the world. The pilgrimage attracts a wide range of devotees, from diverse social or economic backgrounds, except women in their fertile age given Ayyappan is believed to be the celibate deity. Some Ayyappan temples show him with women in grihastha (married, householder) life. Ayyappan may share a historical relationship with the Tamil deity Aiyanar. The most significant festival linked to him is the Makaravilakku (Makara Sankranti), observed around the winter solstice.
