Mysterious Wind Of Tenkasi Kasi Viswanathar temple by Siddheswarananda Bharathi Swamy
The speciality of the temple is the two directions in which the wind from the Pothigai hills flows near the main tower( Raja gopuram). It is a mystery when you experience by standing there. Till the halfway of tower is crossed, the wind blows around you from all sides, but the moment you cross the tower, the same air pushes towards the sanctum Santorum as if making you to reach the god quicker. Though the land extents is small, the gopuram and the presiding deities besides the wind refresh us.
