Gopala Krishna was born to Sri. Venkatramanaiah and Smt. Yamunamma, in the auspicious Hindu month of Kartik, on 6 November 1951. He was very different from other children of his age and showed great interest in spirituality. Seldom was he interested in worldly games and worldly education. He used to make little statues of various gods and goddesses out of clay, decorated them and conducted prayers, whilst the other children were busy playing games. He was always spoke softly and kind. He could not see the misery of human beings and animals and took care of them lovingly. Love had been the corner-stone of his life from a very tender age. His father used to take him to Prashanthi Nilayam (Puttaparthi) and Brindavan (Whitefield, Bangalore) for the divine darshan of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Young Gopal used to yearn for this trip very fervently. Whenever Gopal went to Prashanthi Nilayam, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba invariably called him for an interview. On one such occasion in 1966, Baba held Gopal’s hands in His own and urged Gopal to ask for whatever he wanted. Gopal did not reply because he was now beyond any desires and he was detached from all worldly objects. Gopala Krishna had resolved to devote his life at the Lotus Feet of the Divine Avatar and towards the living and teaching of the Divine Word of Sai.The Sai Mandiram in Girinagar – Bangalore, is a temple where Shirdi Sai and Sathya Sai both are worshipped. This is a unique Mandir where the two manifestations of Sai are worshipped in one place. In this temple people of all faiths come and offer worship. The Sai Mandiram is situated in the peaceful and well-developed district of Girinagar. All are welcome in the Sai Mandiram and Sri Gopala Krishna Baba helps all devotees who come with sufferings, to achieve mental peace. People who suffer from wants, mental illnesses, physical ailments and financial difficulties come here and derive satisfaction. Sri Gopala Krishna Baba attributes this to the divine Love of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The very existence of this temple is a unique expression and establishment of the omnipresence of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Yoga Place of Sri pada sri vallabha (shri kshetra kuravpur) is Kuruvapuram / Kurugadda / Kurugaddi. This area is presently located on the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border. Sri pada sri vallabha is 16 years from the age of 30, which means it's been there for almost 14 years. Here they practice all the functions of a Mahayogi and many are the ideals of the Mahama yogis. Here is the Sripada Sri Charanas Ashwija Massa Krishna Dwadasi, on the day of Hasta on the Krishna River. Surrounded by Kuruvapuram / Kurugaddi / Kurupur is the island of Krishna. From today onwards, you can reach this island only by road. There is a shrine in Kurugaddi and where the Sreepadas surrendered in the temple. Devotees can be anointed on the morning of nine in the morning. Here, the ancient vatana tree and the idol of Lord Shiva in the temple can be seen in their marble statue. Nearby, Sri Vasudevananda Saraswati Swamy can see the cave that is penance and the shiva in it. Lord Dattatreya temples also in pithapuram, Ganagapura, Afzalpur taluk, nirgun paduka, Raichur, Gulbarga district, Karnataka. In the temple, old banyan tree was placed. This temple near to Mahbubnagar.
Vallabhapuram temple
Lord Shri Dattatreya, who had previously tested the Rishivas (periods), suddenly drowned in the river and encircled their form for a few years. Many years later, they came out of the river with the help of the goddess Anagasamedu. Their leas are immodest. The place where the Dattatreya were when they were still there, is now the Kuruvapuram. The Kuruvapuram is a holy place for the Maharaja of Kuran. It is not possible to describe the grandeur of this chaff. Here, Sripada Sri Vallabhbula is in the Jal Samadhi and is in the tomb of Yoga.
Five of the five goddesses in this temple is the Pandadeva Pahad, the Goddess of the Five Pillars of the Goddess (5). Rukmini Sahai Panduranga Swamy 2. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy 3. Anjaneya Swamy 4. Raghavendra Swamy and 5. Vyganeswarar. There are many evidence that this village is the oldest inhabitant. Sripada Sri Vallabhbula is often found here by the sources that their durbar was made. Now where Rukmini Panduranga Swamy Temple is located, the temple was built by Sripada Sri Charan Durbar. The Panduranga Swamy Temple has located here in the year 1238 AD. That is the temple that has been there since then. Now it is in the temple premises that the Anag-Datta temple and the 'Sri Pada Sri Vallabhbu Durbar'. Travelers also have accommodation to stay. The Sripada Srivallabha have come here from the personal problems of many devotees. So that is the place where all the devotees are to visit. The Panduranga Swamy Temple is located close to Krishnanadi and can be reached by road from Kurudapuzha to Kuruvapuram, or from the hill station of Panchadeva Pahad.
Pithapuram Dattatreya Swamy Temple
Our Goal is to trace all Temples in India those stood neglected and bring them to the notice of the devotees seeking their support by all means to revive them so as to preserve the cultural heritage of the country.
At the outset, we have begun with the temples across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states which are ancient with unparallel historical background but remained hidden in spite of having rare kind of structural engineering that kept them distinguished from others.
We are trying our best to unveil the history, secrets and facts regarding those temples. We are quite ambitious to cover all the temples in India and be proud to be part of their development by bringing them back to limelight by facing the challenges of change facilitated by time.
It is an earnest appeal from our side to make us successful in this mission by following regularly this website and giving us suggestions.

Shripad Shri Vallabha Swamy Darshan- Shri Shketra Kuravpur...KARNATAKA - 2011
Sripada ShriVallabha is considered as the first Avatar (incarnation) of the deity Shri Dattatreya in kaliyuga. He was born in Pithapuram. He left Pithapuram for Badarikedar towards North. After the pilgrimage, he went to Gokarna Mahabaleshwar in South. After sepnding 3 years at Mahabaleshwar he went to Shri Shaila mountain (Sri Sailam). Later he stayed most of his life in Kuravpur (Kuravapura). Shripadji stayed here most of his life. It appears that this place must have been quite well inhabited. The story of Vallabhesh Brahmin shows that the village must have been quite big enough to at least accommodate about 1000 Brahmins. Now (as of 2006 AD) the population has reduced and there are lot many fields in between the temple and the village. The village is at one end of the island and the temple is at the other end. There are two, frequently used, routes to reach Kuravapur. One is via Raichur in Karnataka state and another one is via Makthal in Andhra Pradesh state. Either way one has to cross the Krishna river in a small elliptical boat (Putti or Theppa) to reach this island. Digambara Digambara Shripad Shrivallabh Digambara

The mythology says about the falling of parts of the corpse of Sati Devi, when Lord Shiva took it and wandered. Here the seat place of shakthi has fallen.
Lord Dattatreya had been SWAYAMBHUVU here. That means the idol present in the Temple is not carved by any one. Instead he appeared on his own . Unlike other Datta kshetras Idol is worshipped here. Sripada Vallabha charita proves that Here Datta had been worshipped since 1350 A.D by Appala Raja Sharma (father of sripada).A Temple is erected for Datta and a audumbar tree is also planted beneath which we can see the footprints(padukas) of the lord and Sripada’s idol is also placed.
Localites believe that if anyone goes to this Datta Temple with a desire to be fulfilled they have to carry a coconut and after performing pooja that coconut is placed behind Lord’s idol. It is believed that doing this Datta fulfills the desires within 3 months.
