A Tour of St Mary's Church, Rye
This is a tour of the lovely old St. Mary's Church in the Sussex town of Rye, filmed whilst on a family holiday down in East Sussex, on 1st September 2014.
This particular church dates from the 12th century and it's most striking feature is a beautiful clock which was installed in 1561-2. It is one of the oldest church turret clocks in the country still functioning and 'Quarter Boys' were added in 1760 (so called because they strike the quarters but not the hours). The church is open every single day of the year to visitors except for Christmas Day, and is said to be a popular place for marriage proposals!
In this video you will see footage of the interior and exterior of the the church, as well as a walk up the church tower and onto the roof. Enjoy!
Filmed on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H55 digital camera on 1st September 2014.

Philip James Bailey: Prayer is the spirit speaking truth to Truth. (TPMM #502)
Released: January 28, 2014 By: The Prayer Motivator Minute
Our prayer motivator verses from the Word of God today is Matthew 6:9-13 which reads: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Our prayer motivator quote today is from an Unknown Author. He said, You can never lose at prayer. Prayer is the hard, grueling, military-style training needed to win the war of life. Without prayer, you have not the basic weaponry to fight, much less to win.

Sexual abuse by Catholic priests in Curaçao
English subtitles:
She was brought up to trust the Roman Catholic priests, but became the victim of sexual abuse by two Dutch priests in Curaçao - one of the former Netherlands Antilles - as a child.
Now 60 years later, Muriel Bruyn-Van Rozenburg tells her story in public for the first time. She hopes it will encourage other Antilleans to tell theirs.

The medieval town of Rye, East Sussex
The medieval town of Rye, once a haunt of smugglers with its cobbled street and secret passage is as interesting and vibrant today as it ever was. Our well appointed family holiday home, The Salty Dog, at Camber Sands makes an ideal base from which to explore both Rye and the surrounding area - the perfect weekend break.
