The bell ringers of St Bees Priory ringing for St George's day. There are eight bells, cast at Whitechapel in 1857 in the key of F Major. The bells are rung in the unique English Full Circle manner. The bells are in the large crossing tower dating from 1120. and consequently the ringing chamber is one of the largest in Cumbria.
Down by the St Bees sea side
Just another ride out. This time to St Bees which is just along the coast of Cumbria. Tried filming using superview and protune this time. I think its given the video a better look. Tried a new logo as well and will probably experiment with different ones. Also I will have a new mic soon, as it was kindly pointed out in one of my first videos the sound is only in one ear. So I'm hoping the new stereo mic will fix the sound problems.
Thank you again for watching

Herb Lake District Adventure. Day 25. Train to St Bees. Coast to Coast Path.
Taking the coastal train. To St Bees to find the Coast to Coast walk starting point. Maybe next year George will do it. Apart from the sea and lighthouse not much to do. All the hotels, pubs were closed, only found a post office shop. Only one public toilet 20minutes walk from town and station. Had to pee against someone's house fence. Car parking meters at beach car park totally rusted scrap. Hotel looked run down and abandoned. Cannot understand why so many houses and no shops. Parish Church, Priory very interesting.????
