The Knysna community band in conjunction with St James Brigade band led the Disability Parade
A disability rights parade was organized by Knysna Epilepsy from the Waterfront parking lot, along Waterfront Drive to Builders Express, earlier today at around 10:00.
The jolly crowd consisted of people living with disabilities, epilepsy, day care workers, Knysna community band, St James Brigade band and locals who just came to support the initiative.

Chris is the Canon Missioner of the Diocese of Saldanha Bay, one of the Anglican Dioceses of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. He also runs a small consulting practice, Four Consulting, and is a Director of The U2U Foundation, a registered nonprofit organisation which offers a range of transformative courses, workshops, and retreats. Formerly, he served as Executive Director of the Desmond Tutu Peace Centre in Cape Town, South Africa and, prior to that, he was Sub Dean at St. George’s Cathedral and Chaplain to Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Eden District Municipality honours 41 firefighters
Eden District Municipality, this morning honoured their team of 41 firefighters at the Eden Fire Brigade in George. Members received medals and certificates for their excellent services during extraordinary circumstances in Knysna, during the recent fire disaster.
