1 RAR PROVIDES FUN, FOOD & FLOOD RELIEF FOR BOARDERS
The Cathedral School's affiliated Army Unit, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, were on hand today, providing a welcome distraction for Boarders after the recent Townsville floods, which has moved West and is now impacting many of the Boarders families.
1 RAR arrived in six Bushmasters and showed the 150 Boarders through the vehicles followed by games of cricket, tug-o-war, relays and more.
Lunch was then served up by chefs from the 10th Force Support Battalion - Australian Army, providing an exciting opportunity for Boarders, Staff and Military members to all dine together.
A huge thank you goes out to Boarding and Kitchen staff who have worked around the clock to ensure the Boarders have been well looked after over the last week.
Our hearts go out to our Boarding Families who are being impacted out West.
