Once We Were Strangers (Tune Morecambe)
This hymn is based on verses from Ephesians Chapter 2 and describes the reconciliation with God that has been brought about by the life, sacrificial death and resurrection of Christ. I hope you enjoy singing this hymn and sharing it with others
Canon Steven Saxby on two parishes in one churchyard
Canon Steven Saxby, just after chairing the meeting with the Society of Catholic Priests (SCP) in Chelmsford, took a short drive to St Christopher's Church and St Andrews Church in the village of Willingale, Essex, England. The two parishes are both located in one church yard. Fascinating!!
Solemn Blessing (1933)
Full title reads: Solemn blessing and laying of foundation stone of the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, to be second largest Cathedral in the World.
Liverpool, Merseyside.
Priests and attendants mount podium with foundation stone for Liverpool Cathedral. The Roman Catholic priests perform various blessings over the stone. The stone is lowered into place with a crane and pulleys. The watching crowd give a round of applause as the stone falls into place. Top view of the priests as they process away.
Long shot of open air service / ceremony. Pan across large crowd singing a hymn. Closer shots of a high ranking priest - possibly the Bishop of Liverpool - walks past the camera.

HYMN - Here, O My Lord, I See Thee Face to Face (PENITENTIA) #5
Yes, I know, FIVE TIMES ALREADY!! Please don't be upset with me, but I love this wonderful communion hymn sooo much and the last time I played/recorded it was at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York York City in 2012. It ranks up there for me with Sine Nomine, Duke Street, Engelberg, Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones, Ora Labora, and Praise to the Lord the Almighty as I simply cannot get enough of it.This would be my second recording of it on a pipe organ versus the superb Walker digital.

MY STORY!
Hi my name is Jess Townsend and I am a single mum to my daughter Lily who is 18 months old. I started my vlogging journey when lily was 3 months old and have loved every minute of it. I mainly do it so that Lily can look back on these special times when she is older and to also provide advice and support to all the other Mamas out there.
I’d love for you to stick along for the adventure and subscribe to my channel.

According to Thy Gracious Word (Martyrdom)
Check out the complete list of all 4200+ hymns and 125+ solo classical piano music I have recorded:
According to Thy Gracious Word (Martyrdom)
Text by: James Montgomery 1825
Tune: Martydom, an old Scottish Melody
Arranged by: Hugh Wilson 1825
Source: Pilgrim 1935 Hymnal #407
Here is my complete recording of the Pilgrim 1935 Hymnal:
1. According to thy gracious word,
In meek humility,
this will I do, my dying Lord,
I will remember thee.
2. Thy body, broken for my sake,
my bread from heaven shall be;
The testamental cup I take,
and thus remember thee.
3. Gethsemane can I forget?
Or there thy conflict see,
thine agony, and bloody sweat,
and not remember thee?
4. When to the cross I turn mine eyes,
and rest on Calvary,
O Lamb of God, my sacrifice,
I must remember thee;
5. Remember thee, and all thy pains
And all thy love to me;
yea, while a breath, a pulse remains,
will I remember thee.
6. And when these failing lips grow dumb
And mind and memory flee,
when thou shalt in thy kingdom come,
Jesus, remember me.
