ST KILDA PIER MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA PT.1
Providing panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline and Port Phillip Bay, the pier is a popular destination for strolling, cycling, rollerblading and fishing. Catch a ferry to Williamstown, enjoy a snack at the kiosk or try to spot the penguins and native water rats from the breakwater. Whatever your preference, St Kilda Pier provides an unforgettable experience right in the heart of Melbourne.
(St Kilda) Pier's history dates back to 1853 when the (St Kilda) Pier and Jetty Company constructed a wooden jetty to assist the early settlers in unloading timber, building materials and firewood to St Kilda. Not long after its construction the small jetty fell victim to a stormy Port Phillip Bay and was washed away.
The historic (St Kilda) Pier Kiosk was built in 1904 and has undergone several renovations in its time.

Historia Molo w St Kilda sięga 1853 roku, kiedy molo St Kilda i Jetty Company zbudowały drewniany pomost, aby pomóc początkującym osadnikom w rozładunku drewna, materiałów budowlanych i drewna opałowego w St Kilda. Niedługo po jego budowie małe molo padło ofiarą sztormowej zatoki Port Phillip i zostało zmyte.
Zabytkowy kiosk St Kilda Pier został zbudowany w 1904 roku i przeszedł kilka remontów w swoim czasie.

St Kilda & Luna Park
Well we are back from another lovely summer holiday and while we are not giving too much away at this stage it began with a few initial days at St Kilda and this is day numero uno. Even after a very early morning start we managed to get as much as we could out of our first day together - Nothing unusual there LOL
Our AirBnB stay was close to where the skybus dropped us off and I havent mentioned it in the video for respect of that Hosts privacy it was a fantastic place to stay and if you would like some info please email.
We walked down to Aclund street and began a bit of an eat drink fest as we made our way up and down Acland street before finally heading to Luna Park.
I amde it as far as the Pirate ship however Leah managed to ride the scenic railway while Jeff did the filming LOL Glenn was the winner.

Melbourne Fishing Charters Snapper.m4v
a little promo video for my mate, Andre Lindsay, owner of Melbourne Fishing Charters - he runs two awesome boats out of St Kilda Pier, inner Melbourne. They operate daily when the weather is good and winds are light. Summer is the best time for Snapper and they've been getting some big ones since November 2011. The early morning departure is the best time to go... so get out of bed, live life and go fishing... enjoy!!
