Snowy running tour round my local town, Stamford, Lincs, UK (2hrs north of London)
**[Skip to 6min 30secs if you get bored of the first bit of snowy trail!]**
Hello lovely followers of my channel all about trail running, today I thought I’d show you round the town where I live at the moment, Stamford in South Lincolnshire, UK.
It’s one of the prettiest, historic towns in England (especially with a covering of snow!) with its old Norman churches, quaint yellow stone buildings and intriguing alleyways.
Bear with me at the start of the video, I didn’t factor in how l far I’d need to run along the railway line first which is a bit of a samey for 5-10mins, but soon we get to some beautiful historical buildings.
Fancy a visit? Ask me a question in the comments below and I’ll do my best to help you out.
Do subscribe for more trail running advice and inspiration from me and all the elite athletes I have the great pleasure of interviewing.
Happy trails!

BBC One - Songs of Praise, Burghley House (01.09.2019)
Aled Jones visits the magnificent Burghley House near Stamford in Lincolnshire. Often described as the finest Elizabethan house in all of England, Aled discovers how Christianity is woven through Burghley’s 450-year history and explores some of its most spectacular features including the ornately painted hell staircase and heaven room.
From one fine country house to another – ahead of the premiere of the Downton Abbey movie, Aled meets its creator and writer Lord Julian Fellowes. In Brompton Oratory, a chapel where Lord Fellowes often worships, he tells Aled about the film and his Catholic faith.
And back in Lincolnshire, Sean Fletcher marks 45 years since the disaster at the Flixborough chemical plant. He meets survivor John Irvine, who was blinded in the explosion, and finds out how he came to faith in the years that followed.

Extraordinary Faith Episode 15 - London Part 1 of 4
In this first of four episodes filmed in London, England, Canon Christopher Tuckwell, Administrator of Westminster Cathedral, explains the many ministries offered by London’s largest church. Former Cathedral Communications Director Dylan Parry, who has since gone on to join the Norbertines, tells us about the Agatha Christie Indult, by which Pope St. Paul VI granted permission for the Traditional Mass to continue to be celebrated in England and Wales in 1971. Cathedral Master of Music Martin Baker invites us to a rehearsal of the boys’ choir which sings a full choral Mass setting every day of the year, possibly unique in the world. We take part in the Rosary Crusade, an annual October event in which over 2,000 Londoners give witness to their Catholic Faith by processing on a Saturday from Westminster Cathedral to the London Oratory.
