Peaceful Haven In Manly's Heart
In an unexpected contrast to its vibrant surrounds, this delightful home exudes a welcoming sense of tranquility, perched on the first floor of an over 55's block.
Immaculately maintained, this superb building is replete with all the trimmings: secure car parking, lift access, intercom entry, high ceilings and a double-brick structure that lends an air of serenity throughout the boutique complex.
Private leafy outlooks and a northerly orientation furnish the living space with a fresh and bright ambience, with bifold doors inviting the outside in and allowing a seamless extension to the sheltered balcony. The open kitchen overlooks this space, impressively equipped with gas cooking, granite bench tops and abundant cabinetry for the keen cook.
Generous dimensions are on display in both the north-facing bedroom and bathroom, fully tiled in a neutral scheme and appointed with deluxe rainshower.
An internal laundry and storage cage are prized inclusions, while the neighbourhood itself is a standout feature. Barely two minutes walk away, the conveniences of Manly wharf, The Corso and an array of eateries and stores beckon, while coastal walks, harbour vistas and world-class beaches lie in wait just metres from the door.

Stunning Renovation In A Manly Icon
Commanding a spectacular position on the shores of South Steyne since 1930, this iconic building takes centre stage in the Manly landscape overlooking a world-renowned stretch of coastline and providing direct access to the sand within seconds.
Poised on the fourth floor and easily accessible via internal lift, this beautiful home has been completely transformed in an aesthetic that respects the home’s historic flavour, references the coastal setting and embraces contemporary luxury.
Bright and inviting interiors are finished to exemplary standard, laid out to optimise space, and finished with bespoke joinery and a fresh neutral palette. The large living and dining areas are bathed in natural light, and adjoin an exquisite kitchen that employs Smeg appliances and gas cooking as tools of the trade, and marble benchtops, bevelled subway tiling and shaker style joinery as the stunning style foundations.
Bedrooms are beautifully finished with custom robes, the second taking in views of the ocean in one direction, St Patrick’s College in the other, and the master connecting to the sunroom - a feature synonymous with this era’s design, and versatile as home office, sitting room or nursery. Meanwhile, designer touches in the bathroom mirror the kitchen’s magazine-worthy scheme, to create a luxe setting complete with make-up vanity.
A Manly landmark, this exquisite building’s rooftop offers a spectacular platform for checking the surf, while the superb address supplies a lifestyle beyond compare.

Sublime sanctuary 350m to beach
Nestled behind a white picket gate, down a tree-lined path you'll find one of the sweetest beach houses in Manly. Although only moments from the beach, this exquisite property feels as if it's in its own private world a million miles from anywhere. With its flawless facade, landscaped garden, contemporary interior and perfect location in the heart of Manly, this might be your dream home.
This sublime home features two double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and air-conditioning. A snug and welcoming living space is the perfect heart of the home with pretty double doors opening out to a sheltered and private courtyard. A wall of multi-pane windows creates a sense of light and space, cleverly letting the outside in. Adjoining this is a compact and functional gas kitchen with a laundry nook alongside.
The design aesthetic is on trend with a soothing grey and white colour palette and whitewashed timber flooring. A choice of outdoor living spaces beckon with a sunny timber deck the perfect spot for an afternoon drink after a swim in the surf.
But it's the location that wins hearts – located only 350m from the white sands of North Steyne beach, you can stroll to the surf, cafes and ferries in moments. Alternatively, head 500m in the opposite direction to the newly developed Andrew 'Boy' Charlton Pool, and with Manly Corso and city buses nearby, you've got everything covered.

Charming Semi in the Heart of Manly
Nestled in a charming row of Victorian terraces, at the leafy end of Denison St, this cosy semi offers lifestyle and convenience in spades. Within footsteps of iconic Manly Beach, shops, restaurants and cafes, and vibrant Manly Corso, it's also within strolling distance of Manly Wharf and direct ferry access to the city. Everything you need is right at your doorstep. Rare dual-zone status means it can also be converted for use as a shop, opening a world of possibilities.
The home's façade provides huge street appeal with traditional cast iron lace work trim and a character bay window. Entry is via a picture-perfect courtyard large enough for a table and chairs and under the umbrella of a mature Frangipani tree.
Step inside into an open living/dining room with a light and airy feel created by the high ceilings, timber floorboards and natural light. Original features add character and charm, including a working fireplace and intricate ceiling roses with the bay window converted to a cosy window seat.
Upstairs is split-level and offers two good-size bedrooms; the first overlooking the north-facing rear courtyard and the second a loft-style master which includes wardrobe storage and a skylight.
To the rear of the house sits a tidy bathroom and a neat European-style eat-in kitchen with freestanding oven and gas cook top. While both are neat and functional there is obvious potential to modernise and add value with DA approval already secured for renovations.
A north-facing rear courtyard provides a sunny secluded spot for breakfast, a bbq or sundowners. It also features a convenient outdoor shower for washing off the sand from the beach. To the back of the courtyard, a separate studio offers additional floor plan flexibility and could be utilised as a home office, music room or even guest accommodation.
Combining a vibrant and convenient lifestyle with peace and privacy, this cosy charmer is a rare find indeed.

Foreshores at Queenscliff Beach
Foreshores at Queenscliff Beach - the nicer end of Manly beach. Direct access down stone steps lands you on the beach or at the rock ocean pool.
A 15 min leisurely stroll along a stunning beach boardwalk ends at Manly Corso (or 3 min bus). 15 mins later the fast ferry can drop you at Circular Quay (with stunning views of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.).
At the very end of Manly beach is the protected cove called Shelly Beach (voted Australia's top beach - Trip Advisor). Behind Manly beach lies Sydney harbour which also boasts many non-surf beaches.
Going north from Queenscliff is a short walk just over the headland is Freshwater beach, tucked away from most tourists.
This is then followed by 20 kms of beaches (Northern beaches) ending at Palm beach. You can walk any part of the coast walk, all the way from Bondi to the city, over the harbour bridge, past the spit bridge, middle head, into Manly, (Queenscliff) then through to Dee Why and onwards to Palm beach.
