King's Lynn St Nicholas Chapel Angel Festival
Walking around St Nicholas' Chapel this weekend, some young Sci-Fi fans would have been forgiven for thinking they had been placed into an episode of Doctor Who.
Some 81 hand-crafted angels adorned the historic building in King's Lynn for a special festival and a few didn't look too dissimilar to the Weeping Angels you'd see in the popular BBC show.

The Exorcist’s House’,King's Lynn, Norfolk, England
‘The Exorcist’s House’, 7 Chapel Lane is one of King’s Lynn’s most historic properties.
It’s the former home of a member of the clergy from nearby St Nicholas’ Chapel who would perform exorcisms in the late middle ages.
This house was attached to St Nicholas's church. The position of Exorcist in olden times was one which a Catholic priest could hold as he progressed up the church career ladder. It has a reputation of being haunted. It is believed that a previous occupant dabbled in the black arts here. It is also the former residence of author and broadcaster Frederick Robert Buckley, the house was built in 1635 and replaced an older house
The property is also connected to a defining moment in the town’s history where the last exorcism to have been carried out in the house led to a witch being burnt in the Tuesday Market Place. The Grade II listed cottage,is believed to have been built in the 1300s and renovated in 1635.The ghost of a former occupant of this old house was seen briefly by the two daughters of the man who had just purchased the property.
