This was filmed in the mid 1990's at St. Ann's Head Lighthouse, South Wales. It was a station that monitored several other Lighthouses (and a Light ship) that had already been automated via computers. It was automated in 1998 and the Keepers removed. I've discovered that a museum in Wales has 2 of the engines from St. Ann's Lighthouse, it can be found between Aberystwyth and Cardigan at the following..

Not a very good video. A very windy St Annes in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, UK. A very windy day where it was difficult at times to stand upright. Not good near a cliff edge.

Leaving the deep estuary of Milford Haven, passing Dale, a big sailing centre, heading for the 'coast proper'. Don't let the industrialisation of this deep waterway and the coastal fringes put you off walking in this area. There is plenty of green and wonderful seascapes despite a couple of oil refineries and the ships that bring the oil ashore.
