St. Davids Cathedral is an amazing building but what are some of the treasures that are hidden inside?
Also how do the bishops manage to stay standing for a whole service?
What are the relics of the saint?
What is the high altar used for?

St Davids Cathedral, Pembrokeshire, Wales
Founded as a monastery in the late 7th century, its monastic leader became the patron saint of Wales: David! The old cathedral is still highly active as a congregation. Unlike many cathedrals in the UK, this congregation does not exact an entrance fee from visitors during non-worship-service hours, giving freedom to come, sit and meditate at will. The building and adjacent old rectory are worth the visit. The scenery here is dramatic, especially in the spring on a sunny day. This film shows you something of the cathedra and provides a few teasers about the surroundingsl.

Weather
The weather in the UK can vary from day to day. Warmer and hotter months are between April to September. Colder months with snow, sleet and rain are between October and March. You can get some humidity and pollen is highest, between June and August for hayfever suffers. You can also get rain in between, April and September.
I also would like people to see where I have travelled, to and what their is to do in the UK.
Currency
Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:
• banks
• travel agents
• Post Offices
• airports
• major train stations.
It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
Anyone that has any questions, please feel free the comment below and I will answer them for you.
You can dial 999 to reach either the police, fire and ambulance departments.
Thank You

Joy of Music Filming Behind the Scenes: St. David's Cathedral Choir, Wales
During the summer of 2003 Diane and the crew visited St David's Cathedral in Wales for a Joy of Music program filming. I was able to capture a few choir pieces. The cathedral's organist/choirmaster was Timothy Noon. Diane was not at the organ here.

St Davids Cathedral
St Davids or St David's[1][2] (Welsh: Tyddewi, [tɨː ˈðɛwi], lit. David's house) is a city and community (full name St David's and the Cathedral Close) in Pembrokeshire, Wales, in the United Kingdom. Lying on the River Alun on St Davids Peninsula, it is Britain's smallest city in terms of both size and population, the final resting place of Saint David, Wales's patron saint, and the de facto ecclesiastical capital of Wales. St Davids was given city status in the 16th century due to the presence of St David's Cathedral but lost this in 1888. City status was restored in 1994 at the request of Queen Elizabeth II.more info visit

Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi/St David's Cathedral
During a trip down to Pembrokeshire in south-west Wales, (21st-28th Sept' '19), I took time out to visit St David's Cathedral (Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi) in St David's.
The week was blighted with heavy rain and this day was no exception. I've visited several cathedrals and I must admit, this isn't a favourite at all.
Secret Pembrokeshire: A quick visit to St David's cathedral & flying view of the art gallery.
We were out and about and decided to visit St David's cathedral. As we hadn't planned it I was very under prepared. The Camera battery was on red before we even started so a lot of the recordings were quick and I pasted them together in the editing process.
St.Davids Cathedral is a lovely free day out for the whole family and if the weather is nice we often have a picnic on the grass outside.
