Call to Worship: Led by Elliott Fraser
God is Holy Mystery,
beyond complete knowledge,
above perfect description.
Yet, in love,
the one eternal God seeks relationship.
So God creates the universe,
and with it the possibility of being and relating.
God tends the universe,
mending the broken and reconciling the estranged.
God enlivens the universe,
guiding all things toward harmony with their Source.
Grateful for God’s loving action,
we cannot keep from singing.
(From A Song of Faith, a faith statement of the United Church of Canada, 2006)
*Hymn #304 “O God, Beyond All Face and Form”
Prayer of Approach: Led by Elliott Fraser
Holy One,
we come to you,
creatures of time and place,
longing to touch mystery,
yet earthbound,
seeking meaning,
yet threatened by no-meaning,
wanting to celebrate your love,
yet perplexed and doubting
because of the world’s pain.
Holy One,
be with us in this time and place;
help us find our way.
We pray in the name of Jesus
in whom time and eternity are met. Amen.

Offering
Offertory: With All My Hearts New Power (Walther)
Presentation of Offering: Hymn #540 “Grant Us, God, the Grace”
Grant us, God, the grace of giving,
with a spirit large and free,
that ourselves and all our living
we may offer faithfully.
Prayer of Dedication:
O God, we can easily be afflicted
by a sense of our own smallness
and the smallness of our gifts.
Help us know ourselves
as those who are enfolded
by your great mercy and love,
precious in your sight. Amen.
Pastoral Prayer
*Hymn #523 “O God of All the Many Lands” (Tune 231, Haydn)
Commissioning and Benediction
Dismissal: Hymn #424 “May The God of Hope Go With Us” (v.1)
1 May the God of hope go with us every day,
filling all our lives with love and joy and peace.
May the God of justice speed us on our way,
bringing light and hope to every land and race.
Praying, let us work for peace,
singing, share our joy with all,
working for a world that's new,
faithful when we hear Christ's call.

Stratford Park NYC Trip
Stratford Park Bible Chapel recently sent a team of 15 missionaries to Infinity NY Church in the Bronx. We spent most of our week renovating a church member's apartment. It was a pleasure to bless the family, serve the church, and honor Jesus through our work.
