Our transfer began at the Hewanorra Int'l Airport (UVF) airport in Vieux Fort, where we boarded our helicopter with 4 other adults and the pilot.

In addition to St. Lucia's lush interior and its highest peak (Mt. Gimie), this additional stop allowed us to see the the rainforest, Sulfer Springs Volcano and majestic twin mountain peaks of Gros and Petite Piton, just before landing on Jade mountain's private Helipad.
From there, the helicopter flew down along the Atlantic west coast over beautiful Marigot Bay, where many celebrities have homes.
We landed at George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU), where our private driver was waiting in an Audi to transport us to Sandals Grande St. Lucian, only a 15 minute drive away.

Driving in St. Lucia // From Royalton to Airport
This was the final approach to the airport from our 2 week stay at St. Lucia. The roads here are extremely narrow compared to the States, but nevertheless, breathtaking. Sadly to say, the airport was on the bottom of the island, and our resort was at the very top, so driving back took about an hour and a half. Video quality isn't the best on this video, but I hope you can overcome it and see the beautiful spectacles of St. Lucia.
