St. Mary Magdalene Chapel was rebuilt on the cliff edge in 1646 and has one altar. On July 22nd, a Mass is said to commemorate the feast of the Saint. It was a tradition to visit the Chapel on Passion Sunday. The church has inscriptions on the door that were probably hewn during the times of Bishop Balaguer. The small marble plaque at the side that reads non gode l’immunità ecclesiastica, was put up in 1777, and indicates that the church offered no sanctuary to trouble makers. The church has been recently restored. A number of cart ruts may be seen close to the chapel.

Dingli Cliffs - Girgenti - Fawwara
Starting at Dingli Cliffs, we hike north from Wardija ta' San Ġorġ and descend along the secondary road through Girgenti Valley. We proceed eastward and around the Ġebel Ciantar plateau to Fawwara. At Fawwara, we pass by the churches dedicated to the Annunciation and Our Lady of Carmel. We return to Dingli Cliffs along Fawwara, climbing the zig-zag footpath back to Wardija ta' San Ġorġ under the watchful gaze of the islet of Filfla, all along the way. We arrive at St. Mary Magdalen Chapel, where the activities organised by Fridericus Rex Malta Falconers related to the World Falconry Day, have commenced.

We had a perfect day in Malta. Starting from Peter Bergers Pool we went to the Fishing Harbour. After that to Blue Grotto and had a lot of fun with the Parkplatz Chico - he is such a great guy. Thanks to Blue Grotto Boat Service for the great support that we are going to continue 2morrow. At Sunset we were at dingli cliffs: Amazing!!! 2morrow: Heliflight!! Stay tuned.

This amazing Chapel of St Paul the Hermit, Wied il-Għasel, Mosta, Malta is built into a cave overlooking the valley of honey in Mosta, Malta. After finally finding the way into the valley it was a hot but rewarding trek.

Join Caritas Malta on a trail of walking, jogging or cycling on 29th September 2013 and be on the side of people in need. This is also an opportunity to exercise for better health and an occasion to meet friends and make new ones.
The 40-minute walk starts at Mdina Road, Zebbug, near St. Dorothy's School while the 30-minute jog and 60-minute cycle commence at St Mary Magdalene Chapel on Dingli Cliffs. All events end at San Blas where Caritas has one of its major drug rehabilitation centres.
