I think that without gas everyone would be dead, every hostage will be killed, and even not hostages. Even people who are around the Nord-Ost (name of musical at theatre concerned). I want to say that this gas was, it was maybe not a clear win by our forces, but it was really a win.

STORYLINE:
Russia held a day of mourning on Monday to remember the 118 hostages killed during the Moscow theatre siege.
There were special church services across the country with flags flying at half-mast outside government buildings.
But as more survivors were able to leave hospital on Monday, there's been growing anger that almost all the captives who died were killed by gas pumped into the building by Russian troops.
Doctors in Moscow said on Sunday that 116 hostages who died after the Russian raid were killed by the gas. The type of gas used in the raid has remained secret, even to medical workers fighting to save people's lives in hospital.
Another 405 of the freed captives are still in hospital, including nine children, while 239 have been released, the Moscow Health Department said.
Russian authorities say 50 hostage-takers were killed in the raid.
Former hostages released on Monday were met at hospital gates by relieved friends and relatives and television reporters eager to learn what actually happened during Saturday's pre-dawn raid by Russian elite troops.
