Sixth of December in Sozopol celebrated St. Nicholas Day. It is a beautiful religious festival.
The day begins from the liturgy in the church of St. George. During the liturgy covers a wreath for each ship.
Then the representatives of the ships to carry them a solemn procession to the port.
The procession is headed by the measures of Sozopol and the Holy Father.
On arrival at the port the Holy Father illuminates each ship and all the people on it.
The whole city is going by ship to proceed to sea.
There are ships in the form of a cross, and people throw flowers and wreaths into the water to attract the very best in the next year.

Sechste Dezember in Sozopol gefeiert Nikolaustag. Es ist ein schönes religiöses Fest.
Der Tag beginnt aus der Liturgie in der Kirche von St. George. Während der Liturgie deckt einen Kranz für jedes Schiff.
Dann werden die Vertreter der Schiffe, um sie tragen eine feierliche Prozession zum Hafen.
Die Prozession wird von den Maßnahmen von Sozopol und dem Heiligen Vater geleitet.
Bei der Ankunft im Hafen der Heiligen Vater leuchtet jedes Schiff und all die Menschen auf sie.
Die ganze Stadt wird mit dem Schiff zur See zu gehen.
Es gibt Schiffe in der Form eines Kreuzes, und die Leute werfen Blumen und Kränze ins Wasser, um das Beste im kommenden Jahr zu gewinnen.

It is a small medieval Eastern Orthodox church in the southwestern Bulgarian town of Sapareva Banya, which is part of Kyustendil Province.
It was reconstructed in 1937 after falling into ruin, and it was listed as a monument of culture of national importance in 1968.

I visited the Birthplace of Levski in Karlovo in Bulgaria. Levski(1837-1873) is one of the Bulgarian Revolutionaries and many Bulgarian people respect him.ブルガリアの丁度、中央に位置するカルロヴォは、カザンラクとともに薔薇祭りの会場となる小さな町です。ここは、ブルガリアの歴史を語る上で重要な革命家であるヴァシル・レフスキーが生まれた町です。生家が残っているのですが、生家を訪問しました。
レフスキーは1837年に生まれて、修道士になったのですが、途中、命を捨てる覚悟で、ブルガリア独立のためにたち上がりました。彼は、オスマン朝500年の支配からブルガリアを解放、独立させるために革命中央委員会を組織しておこないました。
裏切りにより、捕らえられたのちに、オスマン朝の裁判にかけられて、死刑になりました。36年の生涯でした。レフスキーに関して研究がなされていますが、ロシアをいれずにブルガリア民族だけで独立をしようとしていたので、ロシアに目をつけられて、裁判では、オスマン朝がロシアから圧力を加えられて、処刑されたという説があります。
いずれにしろ、レフスキーは多くのブルガリア人から尊敬されています。そのために小さな町ですが、多くのブルガリア人がここを訪れています。
平成28年(2016年）8月23日～31日にブルガリア政府観光庁の招待旅行（ファムトリップ）に参加しました。ブルガリアは平成24年(2012年）7月に訪問して以来2回目の訪問です。前回はソフィアだけですが、今回は、多くの都市を訪問しました。
訪問した都市は、ソフィア→プロヴディフ→シプカ峠付近→カザンラク→カルロヴォ→ヒサリャと訪問。ソフィアからブルガリア中部を周りました。政府観光庁がミニバスを手配してくれたので、それに乗り、日本に13年間住んでいたブルガリア人の日本語ガイドの方に案内してもらえました。
ブルガリアは、東ヨーロッパの共和制国家です。 バルカン半島に位置し、北にルーマニア、西にセルビア、マケドニア共和国、南にギリシャ、トルコと隣接し、東は黒海に面しています。首都はソフィアです。住民は、 スラヴ系のブルガリア人が83.9%、トルコ人が9.4%、移動型民族のロマ人が4.7%。
ブルガリアの料理は、周辺のバルカン半島諸国と類似するものが多く、ひき肉料理や煮込み料理、シレネと呼ばれるヤギの乳からつくられるチーズ、ヨーグルトなどが代表的。ヨーグルトに相当する醗酵乳食品は他の国にも存在するが、ブルガリアのヨーグルトが日本のみならず世界的に有名になっている。これはロシアの微生物学者イリヤ・メチニコフが、ヨーグルトは長寿に効果があるとしてヨーロッパ中に広めたからである。

Borisova gradina or Knyaz-Borisova gradina (Bulgarian: Борисова градина or Княз-Борисова градина, translated as Boris' Garden or Knyaz Boris' Garden) is the oldest and best known park in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Its construction and arrangement began in 1884 and it is named after Bulgarian Tsar Boris III.
The history of the garden embraces three periods under three renowned gardeners. All followed the initial scheme, developing it further and perfecting it instead of making radical changes to the original design.

Nicht nur Ulm feierte am 2. Juli den Danube Day. Auch das Partnerbüro in Vidin/Bulgarien - es veranstaltete ebenfalls eine Luftballonaktion. Dabei konnten Kinder und Jugendliche ihre Wünsche auf Zettel schreiben und per Luftballon auf die Reise schicken.
