Saint Rumbold's Cathedral in Mechelen, Flanders
Saint Rumbold is one of the cathedrals of the diocese Mechelen-Brussels in Belgium. The distinctive tower of the cathedral can be seen from afar and offers a good view even up to Brussels and the harbor of Antwerp. It houses two carillons.

Hi, I am Eileen from Belgium, nice to meet you. I started this channel two years ago but was not updating on a regular basis. After making some videos for friends and family, I realized this is something I love to do. Inside the Sint-Rombouts-cathedral of Mechelen, Belgium
Again the Novus Ordo altar fails to grasp even the notion of altar, is is a boring glass plate on cold marble, once again all christian elements have been removed. Not only does the new altar looks ugly, it is like a scar in this centuries old church. The tabernacle on the old (and real) Altar has eben removed and the chairs are just silly children chairs, preventing kneeling. This church is a triumph of modernism and therefore a failure in all things christian.

Saint Michel Cathedral - Brussels (Belgium)
The Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula is a Roman Catholic church in Brussels , Belgium. The church was given a status in 1962 and has since been the co-cathedral of the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels, together with St. Rumbold's Cathedral in Mechelen.
The chapel dedicated to St. Michael was probably built on the Treurenberg hill as early as the 9th century. In the 11th century it was replaced by a Romanesque church. In 1047, Lambert II, Count of Leuven founded a chapter in this church and organized the transportation of the relics of the martyr St. Gudula, housed before then in Saint Gaugericus Church on Saint-Géry Island. The patron saints of the church, St. Michael and St. Gudula, are also the patron saints of the city of Brussels.
