PARIS 2018 - FOUNTAIN (SAINT SULPICE)
Les Fontaines Wallace (Wallace Fountains): Weekend in Paris
In 1871 after the Prussians sacked Paris and cut off their food and water, an Englishman, Sir Richard Wallace wanted to help. He designed and manufactured fountains and had them installed across Paris. These fountains still provide potable water to everyone in Paris. The four maidens represent the four virtues of kindness, simplicity, charity and sobriety.
Place Saint-Sulpice, Paris, Saint-Sulpice Church, Overview. Fontaine des Quatre Evêques
A perfect Paris day in Place Saint-Sulpice. Created in 1754, it's the quintessential spot to bask, relax, saunter, espy French stars & starlets, and allow the crisp, clean spray of the Fontaine des Quatre Evêques (Four Bishops) to rinse away reality's withering assaults. Can't make it to Paris this afternoon? Not to worry, we have ya covered!
Subscribe if you like! Cheers - David (PS: Its rue Bonaparte that I'm pointing to, not Napolean...oopos!).

Jardin du Luxembourg, Saint Sulpice
Situated on the border between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter, the Luxembourg Gardens, inspired by the Boboli Gardens in Florence, were created upon the initiative of Queen Marie de Medici in 1612. The gardens, which cover 25 hectares of land, are split into French gardens and English gardens. Between the two, lies a geometric forest and a large pond.

Paris! What else can you say? Merci Beaucoup to Daniel Roth, organist at St. Sulpice Church. Maybe someday I'll redo this so the video is actually synchronized with the music. But enjoy it for now anyway!
