Ryeberg Home Movie: St. John's Gardens, Liverpool
St. John's Ornamental and Memorial Gardens is a residue of the confident mid-nineteenth century, when Liverpudlians decided to built a bunch of grand buildings. The William Brown Central Library and Museum with their collonaded entrances are in frame, and a piece of St. George's Hall (whose sole purpose was to host festivals and dinners). It's all a lovely backdrop for chillin' 21st century teenagers.

The Kings Regiment Liverpool held a short memorial service at the Kings Memorial in St Johns' Gardens, behind St George's Hall, Liverpool earlier. The wreath was laid by Lt Col Hollingsworth MBE.

A short service was held in Liverpool's St John's Gardens, on the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. The service was held by the Rector of Liverpool, Revd Canon Dr Crispin Pailing. Special dignitaries included the Lord Mayor's of the Liverpool City Region, the President of the Royal British Legion, Merseyside and West Lancs, Lt Col Anthony Hollingsworth, MBE and the Naval Regional Commander Northern England, Commodore Philip Waterhouse RN.
