The Streets Barber Stories - Episode 5 : Aaron
Each day when I cut hair on the streets I meet amazing people with amazing stories. Stories that most people never get to see or hear. Stories that can warm my heart, and break it at the same time.
This is Aaron. What a positive and great guy! Back in the day, I used to always see him around in Footscray, always saying hi and showing love when I was on the streets. I never managed to give him a cut, he would be busy or on the way somewhere, but would always say next time!. Recently, I had bumped into him and his attitude to life seemed completely changed, so different from the last time I saw him on the streets, he seemed to radiate positivity.
So, we made plans to hang out for a day in Footscray and for me to give him a cut. He lived there for 11 years, having recently moved to a more affordable and stable house for his partner and family. Footscray was a big part of his recovery with substance abuse, having moved here from Brisbane with his partner when they decided to get a way from the scene that had overtaken his life at the time. Aaron has battled with heavy drugs for over a decade, and would always manage to find a reason to relapse. Now he has managed to overcome his struggles and is moving forward with his life.
We walked around the streets of Footscray, reminiscing good and bad times, and how he dealt with his challenges. Aaron's story is powerful, and speaks about the importance of the right support around you during tough times.

Vickie Guerrero fights for her job against Stephanie McMahon.

in melbourne (st.kilda), hopefully it helps ppl to recover their mind about this... or maybe i just want to upload this since this video is the only left with me.. im worrying what would happen if my computer got broken and need to restart then i surelly cant keep this video for any longer.
i fancy you - cupid's view
I was bored and since klaus/caroline kept screaming for a vid i dessided to mix them up XD It's Cupid/Elena now. It's about our bond the things we went through and about how Cupid keeps adapting to my body. He's very gentle and listens perfectly when my back gives me trouble doing stuff. It's like he understands that at that moment he can seriously injure me if he does go monster on me. Still he has his little monster moments but hej that's cupid and i don't mind. As long as he knows the limits.
Cupid is a 5 year old gelding shetland pony. My step-mom though he deserved a chance but since she had no idea what to do with it she just gave him to me. After a few bumps in the road and his agression we castrated him and gave him strickt rules keping him on a short leash for a long long time. Now that's no longer needed he knows whats right and wrong. I remember it so well januari... so cold... his hooves where hurting so bad he did not want to stand up and all of the sudden he layed on his side and started bending his head to his side Just like the deer at grandpa's do when they see no way out and want to die. I sat down with him pulling an blanket over both of us holding his head on my lap forcing him to not give up. We had to wait 3 hours, 3 hours of pure torture... The vet gave me a choice give him an overdose and hope he'd survives or put him down right then and there. So i choose to let him fight for himself. When i left that day late at night he seemed a little better but i was still scared to find him dead in the morning. But the next morning his head was looking over the gate. Calling for me as he probable heared my bike's wheels going over the loosend stones on the yard. He had not died alone as i feared he had fought through the night. He gave life a chance just like I wanted him too.
Some people don't under stand why i do not have a riding horse but a little shetland pony. Well that very simple i have a bond with him which i haven't had with any horse ever in my life. Sure i had horses that clicked with me but not like i have with Cupid. And giving him the change to choose for himself was in my eyes the best choice insted of putting him down right away. If it wasn't his faith he would have died hours after the overdose but he didn't. He had a fighting change and i gave him that. Hoping he would fight for me.
I love you little monster you will always be mine. I don't care how my health goes even if i have to be with you in a wheelchair. If i have to go through rain or storm you can count on me little monster.

La Trobe University
La Trobe University is an Australian public university whose flagship campus, the largest metropolitan campus in the country, is located in Melbourne, Victoria. The university was established in 1964 following the assent of the La Trobe University Act by Victorian Parliament on 9 December of that year, becoming the third university in the State. While it does not share the architectural aesthetics of its sandstone peers, at its core La Trobe, as much as Monash, was 'among the last of the old universities in Australia.' Of the many aspirations set upon La Trobe by its distinguished founders, one of its most prominent achievements, and a great source of university pride, has been its long-standing commitment to providing access to higher education to those traditionally excluded from the sector. In 2015 it was ranked in the top 100 universities under 50 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
La Trobe's flagship campus is located in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora with two other major campuses located in the regional Victorian city of Bendigo and in the twin border cities of Albury-Wodonga. The university has two smaller regional campuses in Mildura and Shepparton, and three minor CBD campuses: two in Melbourne on Franklin Street and Collins Street, and one on York Street in Sydney.

Auburn Coach Wife Kristi Malzahn Agrees with Match & eHarmony: Men are Jerks
My advice is this: Settle! That's right. Don't worry about passion or intense connection. Don't nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling Bravo! in movie theaters. Overlook his halitosis or abysmal sense of aesthetics. Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go. Based on my observations, in fact, settling will probably make you happier in the long run, since many of those who marry with great expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. (It's hard to maintain that level of zing when the conversation morphs into discussions about who's changing the diapers or balancing the checkbook.)
Obviously, I wasn't always an advocate of settling. In fact, it took not settling to make me realize that settling is the better option, and even though settling is a rampant phenomenon, talking about it in a positive light makes people profoundly uncomfortable. Whenever I make the case for settling, people look at me with creased brows of disapproval or frowns of disappointment, the way a child might look at an older sibling who just informed her that Jerry's Kids aren't going to walk, even if you send them money. It's not only politically incorrect to get behind settling, it's downright un-American. Our culture tells us to keep our eyes on the prize (while our mothers, who know better, tell us not to be so picky), and the theme of holding out for true love (whatever that is—look at the divorce rate) permeates our collective mentality.
Even situation comedies, starting in the 1970s with The Mary Tyler Moore Show and going all the way to Friends, feature endearing single women in the dating trenches, and there's supposed to be something romantic and even heroic about their search for true love. Of course, the crucial difference is that, whereas the earlier series begins after Mary has been jilted by her fiancé, the more modern-day Friends opens as Rachel Green leaves her nice-guy orthodontist fiancé at the altar simply because she isn't feeling it. But either way, in episode after episode, as both women continue to be unlucky in love, settling starts to look pretty darn appealing. Mary is supposed to be contentedly independent and fulfilled by her newsroom family, but in fact her life seems lonely. Are we to assume that at the end of the series, Mary, by then in her late 30s, found her soul mate after the lights in the newsroom went out and her work family was disbanded? If her experience was anything like mine or that of my single friends, it's unlikely.
And while Rachel and her supposed soul mate, Ross, finally get together (for the umpteenth time) in the finale of Friends, do we feel confident that she'll be happier with Ross than she would have been had she settled down with Barry, the orthodontist, 10 years earlier? She and Ross have passion but have never had long-term stability, and the fireworks she experiences with him but not with Barry might actually turn out to be a liability, given how many times their relationship has already gone up in flames. It's equally questionable whether Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, who cheated on her kindhearted and generous boyfriend, Aidan, only to end up with the more exciting but self-absorbed Mr. Big, will be better off in the framework of marriage and family. (Some time after the breakup, when Carrie ran into Aidan on the street, he was carrying his infant in a Baby Björn. Can anyone imagine Mr. Big walking around with a Björn?)
