Oak Forest Baseball: Bengals 6 Bremen 0 on 04-27-12 behind Kyle Czeszewski's one-hitter
Friday night at Standard Bank Stadium, Oak Forest defeated the Bremen Braves 6-0 behing the pitching of Kyle Czeszewski. Czeszewski allowed only one hit, a bloop single just beyond the reach of the Bengal SS. Pitching 6 innings, he threw just 63 pitches and allowed no walks, facing only 21 batters. 2 Braves reached base on errors. Kyle Funkhouser followed up his 6 inning, 103 pitch effort against Richards on Thursday by pitching the 7th. Hundreds of fans braved the cold weather as Oak Forest and Bremen started a new tradition of playing one game a year at the home of the local minor league team Windy City Thunderbolts in Crestwood, Standard Bank Stadium. Despite the weather, it was a great atmosphere.

Windy City ThunderBolts center fielder Rob Marconi belts the first pitch in the bottom of the first of Game 5 of the 2007 Frontier League Championship Series into the left field parking lot at Standard Bank Stadium. The ThunderBolts complete the best season in franchise history with a 10-3 win.The homer comes off of the Washington Wild Things' Tom Cochran, who reached the major leagues in 2011.
