Carr's Oyster Bar - Stanley Bridge, PEI
Overlooking the water in Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island is Carr's Oyster Bar Restaurant and Lounge. What began as a roadside business evolved into a wholesale seafood export company, market and now a full fledged oyster bar and restaurant which supplies itself with the same great shellfish that the fishermen bring in daily. Today the restaurant remains in the family, has a great gift store and also includes a marine aquarium and one of North America's largest stuffed bird collections!

Planning a trip to Vancouver? Don't miss Stanley Park. Located just a few blocks from the bustle of downtown Vancouver, it offers one thousand acres of greenery almost completely surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. Learn more about it in this travel video.
Just a few blocks away from the bustle of downtown Vancouver is Stanley Park–a thousand acres of greenery almost completely surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. Stanley Park is essential to Vancouver, and it would be a mistake not to visit. You could just take a walk or a bike ride, but there’s a lot more to see and do. Stanley Park is home to nine totem poles carved by First Nations artists, representing several different Native American groups. It’s some of the best art you’ll ever get to see for free. The natural attractions are also worth the trip. The seawall, a paved path running along the outside of the park, right next to the ocean, is beloved by locals and tourists alike for its amazing views of the water and the city. But the best view of all is at Prospect Point, the highest point in the park. From there you can see not only the park, but the activity in the harbor, plus Lion’s Gate Bridge and Vancouver’s North Shore. If you’re not really up for spending time outdoors, don’t worry–Stanley Park is also where you’ll find the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Center. The Aquarium is home to dolphins, sea otters, beluga whales, and many other species of marine life. For education, exercise, and recreation, Stanley Park has everything you need.

North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.
Brockton Point is a point and attached peninsula in Vancouver on the north side of Coal Harbour. Named after Francis Brockton, it is the most easterly part of Stanley Park and is home to a 100-year-old lighthouse and several hand-carved totem poles made in British Columbia.
Part of the land at the point was first cleared in 1865 in order to construct a sawmill. Due to rough currents around the point and a reef offshore, the Burnaby Shoal, however, the mill was built in Gastown and the point instead became the primary sports fields of early Vancouver. The main sporting venue, Brockton Oval, has been visited by cricket players such as Donald Bradman, Fred Trueman and Geoffrey Boycott. Cricket and rugby are still played here.
