Ghostly Figure Captured On Footpath In Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex
A ghost said to haunt a pathway in Stansted Mountfitchet might just have been caught on camera if this footage is anything to go by.
The Essex village, close to Stansted Airport, can trace its origins back centuries but one old local legend relates to a tale that happened on the pathway between the railway line and river.
And now one freelance content creator, Rob Wakefield, might just have caught the ghost at the centre of the story on film.
On the footage Rob manages to capture a misty figure on the pathway close to the river.
The footage is then zoomed in for people to see the incredibly eerie outline of what looks like a spirit.
And according to legend it could be the ghost of someone who was hit by a train on the nearby railway.
“The story was told to me in a local pub as all good ghost stories are,” said Rob.
“The story is of a young man who late one night decided to cut across the tracks, rather than at the nearest bridge.
“He was apparently hit by a train, as the driver reported a collision, but no body could be found.
“The rumour is that the boy was knocked off the tracks and into the river that runs by the side of the railway.
“As such, on certain days, you can see the ghost haunting the pathway that runs between the river and the tracks.”
Rob decided to visit the location next to the river but didn’t notice anything until he watched his video footage back.
“I recorded this video in the same location,” he explained.
“I didn’t notice anything odd until I played the footage back and it gave me a chill when I saw the screen.”

Stansted Light Railway
We took the tiny train and then the battery on my camera depleted
Steam Trains at Rowlands Castle.
This is not realy a full size set of locos or real line this is actualy a layout at the Southport model railway show at Birkdale high school. But i decided to give the title of the video a different name so as to possibly get a few extra views.
2012 I Wont be returning to the railway show as there wasnt much there and i was supposed to be at the SVR Autumn steam gala which i will be at in 2012.
So during the vid we spot many different locos includeing a GWR Hall class locomotive, Q1 And other locos on the layout. The detail that goes into making layouts like this is fuckin amazing and we should all respect that. Even i own my own model railway which i did show vids of but havent uploaded any vids since as i didnt get many views.
But other than that model railways are just amazing, Enjoy the vid

Rowland's Castle In The Run-Up To D-Day Depicted In Award-Winning Train Model
A while ago we went to Rowland's Castle where the village's association was trying to raise funds for a unique train model. It shows how the village probably looked like in the run-up to D-Day and took almost 7 years to finish it. Fortunately, the Rowland's Castle Association didn't need years to gather the money, and they now brought the layout to its spiritual home. So our reporter Nicole Ris followed the tracks to find out more.

First Great Western Class 158 (158798) at Cosham
This is my second testing video for my YouTube account. This was filmed at Cosham station at 10:39, 01/03/2008. Here goes Class 158 (unit number 158798), formed of 3 coaches, operating the 10:22 Portsmouth Harbour-Cardiff Central service. The train is running 2 minutes late at Cosham.
This is one of the many refurbished class 158 units. Former TransPennine express unit, now painted in the new First Great Western livery.
Apologies for the poor picture and sound quality of this video as this was filmed on my camera phone.

Racton Ruin By Drone 4K
Racton Monument (known locally as Racton Ruin) is a folly situated on a hill in Racton, West Sussex, England. It was commissioned by the 2nd Earl of Halifax, possibly as a summerhouse for the nearby Stansted Estate, though an alternative theory suggests it could have been constructed so the Earl could watch his merchant ships dock at the nearby port village of Emsworth.
It was designed by architect Theodosius Keene, son of Henry Keene, and constructed in 1766
