Weekend tour - Mysterious Staritsa // Нестареющая Старица

Weekend tour from Moscow. It is about active driving. It’s about real Russia. It’s about Russian culture and history. It’s about fun.

Total extension of route 600 - 650 km.

On our way we will:

- pass through the most ancient city of Moscow Region.
- honor the memory of the fallen heroes of the Great Patriotic War: fictional 28 Panfilovcy, as well as quite real Kremlin Cadets.
- meditate over the water: the cascades of the first domestic hydroelectric power station and the most beautiful site of Volga on all its course.
- recite verses of Alexander Pushkin, Russian greatest poet, in the places where three important women in his life used to live.
- find out where they began to produce the first Russian cheese.
try not to startle the bats in the abandoned quarries.
- will not believe our own eyes, when reveal a Gothic cathedral in the solitude of Tver' land.

По дороге мы с вами:

- проедем, почтительно сбросив скорость, через древнейший город Московской области
- почтим память погибших героев Великой отечественной: как выдуманных 28 панфиловцев, так и вполне настоящих кремлевских курсантов
- помедитируем над водой: каскадами первой отечественной ГЭС и самым красивым участком Волги на всем её течении
- продекламируем стихи Александра Сергеевича там, где жили три важные женщины в жизни поэта
- узнаем где начали делать первый российский сыр
- постараемся не спугнуть летучих мышей в заброшенных каменоломнях
- не поверим своим глазам, обнаружив готический собор в тверской глуши
