Pints and Pins - Stars and Strikes
Stars and Strikes is located in fabulous downtown Princeton. Patty and Matt are not natives of the this small town, but arrived here seeking shelter from the big city life. This four lane facility has had some renovations over the years,including an expand the bar, but one thing that isn't going anywhere is Stars and Stikes' manual scoring. This place has a great atmosphere, with that and Patty and Matt's energetic attitude, this is one of the funniest places we stopped in along our journey.

Battle Hymn of the Republic
The United States Army Field Band performs Battle Hymn of the Republic. Lyrics by Julia Ward Howe; Music by William Steffe; Setting by Peter J. Wilhousky and Arranged by James Neilson. Led by First Lieutenant Alexandra Borza.
Lyrics
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.
I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps,
His day is marching on.
I have read His fiery gospel writ in rows of burnished steel!
As ye deal with my condemners, so with you My grace shall deal!
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,
Since God is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him; be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free!
While God is marching on.

Police officer SHOT during gunfight with suspect
Footage from a police helicopter shows a shootout between Texas State Troopers and a suspect in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, February 18.
The footage released by the Texas Department of Public Safety shows a trooper being shot in the arm by Ernest Manuel Montelongo, who resisted arrest and fled after being stopped for a traffic violation. Montelongo was then fatally shot by another Trooper.
The Texas State Troopers Association said that the suspect “emerged from his vehicle, produced a gun and forced the trooper to exchange gunfire with him.”
Local media reported that authorities said Montelongo was brought to Brooke Army Medical Centre and was pronounced dead a day later. A spokesman for the DPS said the Trooper was “doing well.”

articles on the situation
Locally strong storms to eye southern US into Monday
The threat for heavy and locally strong thunderstorms will slowly shift eastward across the southern United States into Monday.
While a severe weather event with the magnitude of the April 13-15 outbreak is not in store, residents across the region should remain weather aware as they go about their day.
Outdoor activities, including events for Earth Day, may need to be moved inside or postponed due to the wet conditions and the threat of lightning.
On Saturday afternoon, east-central Texas will become the focal point for feisty storms, including the cities of Abilene and Dallas-Fort Worth.
The tornado risk will be low; a greater number of storms are likely to produce locally damaging winds, hail and heavy rainfall.
During Saturday night, the threat for storms that can produce flooding in low-lying and urban areas will increase, while the severe risk diminishes.
Residents in Houston and Tyler, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Shreveport and Alexandria, Louisiana, may be kept up or awoken by downpours and rumbles of thunder on Saturday night.
The stormy conditions will march along the Gulf Coast states as the weekend comes to a close.
A large portion of eastern Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle could experience heavy storms capable of triggering localized damage, hail and even a couple of tornadoes.
As soon as thunder is heard, head indoors to avoid the risk of being struck by lightning.
Through the weekend, the storms will lead to poor driving conditions on interstates 10, 20, 40, 55, 65, 75 and 85. Reduced visibility and ponding of water on the roads may slow travel.
Low-lying and poor drainage areas could be flooded due to the amount of rain that falls in a short duration.
During Monday, the potential for heavy, gusty to locally severe thunderstorms will focus on Florida, especially the Florida Peninsula, Sosnowski said.
A few heavier storms could extend into a portion of southeastern Georgia and far southern South Carolina.
Those with commutes along I-95 from Florence, South Carolina, to Florida's Space Coast should anticipate downpours that reduce visibility and slow travel.
A general soaking rain is expected to fall to the north of the areas at risk for locally strong storms from Sunday through Monday.

See Top Secret Bunker Where 7,000 Americans Will Go in Event of Nuclear Bomb
A new book is highlighting some of the top-secret locations in America that could serve as a de facto White House in the event of a nuclear strike. A bunker built into a hollowed out mountain in Colorado is just one of the covert shelters where 7,000 Americans will go to in the event of nuclear annihilation, according to Garrett Graff, the author of 'Raven Rock: The U.S. Government's Secret Plan to Save Itself While the Rest of Us Die.'

What New Marine Corps Recruits Go Through In Boot Camp
We got an inside look at the United States Marine Corps’ intense 13-week basic training program. Senior video correspondent Graham Flanagan spent five days at the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina, where he observed different companies at various stages of training.
Recruits endure a series of intense physical challenges such as entering a gas chamber, rappelling down a 47-foot-tower, and fighting each other with “pugil sticks.” The Marine Corps is the only US military branch that separates male and female recruits during basic training. In a statement to Business Insider, a spokesperson from the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot at Parris Island said, “The same gender platoon model allows for appropriate acclimation to the training environment, development of key relationships with drill instructors, and optimal focus during the beginning of their transformation.”
After weeks of extreme physical and psychological challenges, training culminates with “The Crucible,” a 54-hour event where recruits endure exhausting combat scenarios while running on minimal food and sleep.

UFO? Possible sighting on May 21, 2016. Bells Ferry Rd Kennesaw, GA
I was Driving down Bells Ferry on Saturday when I saw a star, (maybe Nibiru) brighter than the rest, next to the moon. I started to record it (or rather my girlfriend), she captured an object shooting out to the right of the star. BUT if someone is able to zoom in, they will notice that in fact TWO objects shot out from that area. The first one shoots out and accelerates at the last second. Please comment and give me your opinion.
The Hunt for Red October by Basil Poledouris - Dallas Sonar
The Hunt for Red October is a 1990 film based on the novel of the same name by Tom Clancy. It was directed by John McTiernan and stars Sean Connery as Captain Marko Ramius and Alec Baldwin as Jack Ryan. It had mostly negative reviews at first but received critical acclaim since, including 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. It was one of the top grossing films of the year, grossing $122 million in North America and $200 million worldwide. The film won the Academy Award for Sound Editing in 1991.
Ramius takes the boat to sea for exercises with the submarine V.K. Konovalov, commanded by his former student Captain Tupolev (Stellan Skarsgård). Ramius murders political officer Ivan Putin (Peter Firth), the one man not under his command and the only man aboard besides himself who knows the sub's orders, then burns the orders and tells the crew they will conduct nuclear missile drills off America's east coast. The Dallas, an American submarine on patrol nearby, detects Red October but loses contact once Ramius engages the silent drive.
The next morning, CIA analyst Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin) briefs U.S. government officials on the departure of Red October and the threat it poses. Officials in the briefing, learning that the Soviet Navy has been deployed to sink Red October, fear Ramius may plan a strike against the U.S. However, Ryan thinks Ramius plans to defect and leaves for the North Atlantic to prove his theory before the U.S. Navy is ordered to sink Red October.
Red October's caterpillar drive fails at sea and sabotage is suspected. No longer silent, the sub comes under attack by Soviet forces and begins risky maneuvers through undersea canyons. Petty Officer Jones (Courtney B. Vance), a sonar analyst aboard Dallas, plots an interception course. Ryan arranges a hazardous mid-ocean rendezvous to get aboard Dallas, where he convinces Captain Mancuso (Scott Glenn) to contact Ramius to determine his intentions. Ramius, stunned that the Americans guessed his plan to defect, accepts their cooperation. He then stages a nuclear reactor emergency and orders the bulk of his crew to abandon ship, telling Red October's doctor (Tim Curry) that he will scuttle the sub rather than let it be captured. Ramius submerges and Ryan, Mancuso and Jones come aboard via a mini-sub, at which point Ramius requests asylum in the United States for himself and his officers.
Thinking their mission is complete, Red October's skeleton crew are surprised by a torpedo attack from Konovalov, which has followed them across the Atlantic. As the two Soviet subs maneuver, Red October's cook (apparently the saboteur) opens fire, fatally wounding Ramius's first officer before retreating into the missile launch area. Ryan follows and guns down the saboteur just before he can detonate a missile and destroy the sub.
Meanwhile, with help from Dallas, Red October makes evasive maneuvers, causing one of Konovalov's own torpedoes to circle around and destroy it. The evacuated crew of Red October on board a U.S. Navy rescue ship witness this explosion and, not knowing that there is a second Soviet sub, assume it was Red October. Their subterfuge complete, Ryan and Ramius sail Red October to the Penobscot River in Maine.
