Lebua at State Tower is a 5 star luxury hotel. It is one of the best and most famous 5 star luxury hotels in Thailand.
The Lebua at State Tower Hotel is located in a skyscraper of 68 floors. The Lebua at State Tower Hotel itself is located on the 21st - 25th floors. Every hotel room is big (66 square meters) and have a private balcony. The swimming pool and fitness are located on the 12th floor, also known as M-Floor.
Inside the tower of Lebua at State Tower Hotel are hotel rooms, outdoor swimming pool, fitness, a lobby / lounge area, multiple restaurants, and multiple cocktail bars / sky bars.
Lebua at State Tower is located on Silom Road in the Bang Rak district, in the centre of Bangkok. The hotel is located nearby the Chao Phraya River.

LEBUA STATE TOWER | TOUR | BANGKOK, THAILAND
Hi my beautiful people. These clips were taken when I went to Thailand in March, and I finally got around to edit it. First, we landed in Bangkok, then we went to Chiang Mai, and then Pattaya. Chiang Mai and Pattaya videos will be uploaded soon. As for now, here's the Bangkok one.????
Our hotel is the Lebua State Hotel. I absolutely recommend this hotel. It is one of the best and the finest. The rooftop bar is where Hangover 2 was filmed; right where the dome spot is. ???? Did we get a bad hangover? Sure did. ???? Staff were soooooo nice and respectful. Breakfast was ah-mazing. Like....who makes papaya for breakfast?...yea, Welcome to Thailand. ???? I made sure I had a plate of papaya every morning.
The first two days, we went shopping and had bomb lunch and dinner everywhere. Food was literally the first thing me and my husband wanted to do when we got there.
The third day, we went to the King's Palace. There were sooooooo many people, that touring the place was insanely hectic. Even if you were to book a private tour, it'd still be hectic because tons of people are also on private tours.???? But overall, it was a different experience. The buildings were fascinating. The weather though, it's hot and humid so be prepare. However, don't let the heat ruin your day.
The fourth day, we just wanted to relax, swim, and my favorite part, my birthday dinner. My friends and family bought cakes, and drinks secretly, they were so good at doing surprises, I had no clue. I knew we were having dinner, but the after party was definitely a surprise. If only I can show the clips but it's too embarrassing so I edited that out. ????????????????

Review: Lebua State Tower Hotel in Bangkok - Hangover Part 2 was filmed here!
A nice hotel, cost us $130 USD per night including 2 continental breakfast though Hotels.com. Make sure you pay a little more to get the 2 continental breakfast as it is well worth it. Its basically buy one get one free.
Takes about 35 minutes taxi ride from International airport and cost about 400 BHT.
NOTE: The only issue we had to that the WIFI was super slow. Was really a pain to work...FYI.
Hangover Part 2 was filmed here. They offer the movie free in all the rooms. Breakfast is awesome. Staff nice and super friendly, room was very clean, new sheets and bed was very comfy.
Check both Hotels.com & Booking.com for best prices. Remember Hotel.com excludes taxes and all and booking.com is upfront with everything.

In our recent trip to Thailand for my 50th Birthday party, we stated 3 nights in the Lebua State Tower in a club room which game you lounge access on Floor 52 in the Breeze bar, breakfast, lunch and high tea.
Never made the famous dome on the 64th floor as it was raining when we went up and they were not letting anyone outside.

Evening time again and you join me from the Famous Sky Bar & Sirocco at the State Tower.
I didnt enjoy my visit to this bar. As soon as anybody got a camera out the staff would come rushing over and stop you taking photos & video. Strange as the bar was made famous in a well known comedy film.
I only stayed for one fast drink then left in search of an evening meal.
I ended up at Saengchai Potchana แสงชัยโภชนา for some lovely crab.

WALKING AROUND BANGKOK CITY | From Saphan Taksin BTS Station To The State Tower (HANGOVER 2 SKY BAR).
Saphan Taksin is a BTS station in Bangkok City. It is filled with mainly local people as this is just on the outskirts of Bangkok center.
There are lots of food stall around and many pop up stalls happening at night.
Saphan Taksin is also a short walk form the State Tower, popularised by the Hangover 2, which was filmed at the now infamous skybar.
The State Tower is approx. a 10 min walk from Saphan Taksin BTS Station and there are plenty of street food along the way.

Diesmal waren wir in Bangkok auf dem Chatuchak Weekend Market, einem der größten Märkte Asiens. Am Abend ging es dann auf zur Bar auf dem Film Hangover - der Sirocco Sky Bar im Lebua State Tower!
Der Chatuchak Weekend Market ist grandios. Selbst wenn man nichts kaufen mag.
Dort gibt es ALLES!
Kleidung, Essen, Kunst, Tiere und und und...
Es ist einfach unvorstellbar.
Zuerst gehst du am besten einmal eine Runde UM den Markt und danach DURCH den Markt.
Es gibt etliche kleine und große Stände, Shops, Restaurants und vieles vieles mehr!
Der Markt ist jedes Mal ein Event und durch die perfekte Lage an MRT Station und BTS Station super einfach und günstig zu erreichen!
Die Bar am Abend, welche wir besucht haben, kennt ihr vermutlich aus dem Film Hangover 2.
Es ist die Sirocco Sky Bar im Lebua State Tower!
Definitiv auch einen Besuch wert, aber passt auf, dass ihr euer Wechselgeld stimmt und überhaupt bekommt.
Damit hatten wir nämlich schon einmal ordentlich zu kämpfen. :)
Für den Besuch sollte man schick gekleidet sein.
Mit kurzer Hose und Flip Flops wird man meist nicht rauf gelassen.
Wer darauf keine Lust hat, sollte sich das höchste Gebäude Thailands anschauen, den Bayoke Tower II oder auch Bayoke Sky Tower genannt.
Gegen Eintritt kommt man dort problemlos rauf und kann auf der sich bewegenden 360° Plattform die Aussicht über Bangkok genießen!
