The largest and busiest train station in the Netherlands is officially open since 2018. However, the entire area is still being developed until at least until 2030. Utrecht Central Station was once built for approximately 35 million passengers per year. Currently, 88 million people use the station annually. Underneath the Stationsplein, next to the train station, is built worlds biggest bicycle parking garage (see also my other video).
Located on one side of the station, there is a station promenade, a public street, which crosses the railroad tracks. Now a passer-by is able to move from west to east without having to use a ‘chip card’. Restaurants, shops, and a possible market give this promenade the atmosphere of a real city street. Through large glass walls, serving as curtains hanging from the roof of 235 by 85 meters, the stations offer all kinds of stunning lookouts, to trains, tracks and expansive views of the city. The interior has a reserved allure and modest charm: it is the people, signage, vehicles and other typical additions that make the station alive and vibrant and give color and ambiance.

This is an impression of the railway station Utrecht Centraal in the Netherlands. A very busy busy place, certainly during rush hours. The inner city is on walking distance, same as the congress center Jaarbeurs, theaters, cinema's, shops almost everything you can think of is right here. Getting here by car is difficult because of the traffic, therefore most people here take the bus or the train. This whole area has been recently totally renovated, and is looking great now. Very convenient and fast. So whenever your traveling through Holland, you'll probably see this place too. Happy holidays and enjoy yourself in Utrecht, the canals & beers are great!

Ceci est une impression de la gare Utrecht Central aux Pays-Bas. Un endroit occupé très occupé, certainement pendant les heures de pointe. Le centre-ville est à distance de marche, le même que le centre des congrès Jaarbeurs, théâtres, cinémas, magasins, presque tout ce que vous pouvez penser est juste ici. Se rendre en voiture est difficile en raison de la circulation, c'est pourquoi nous prenons le bus ou le train. Toute cette zone a été entièrement rénovée récemment et a l'air bien maintenant. Très pratique et rapide. Donc, quand vous voyagez à travers la Hollande, vous verrez probablement cet endroit aussi. Bonnes vacances et amusez-vous à Utrecht, les canaux et les bières sont super!

El centro de la ciudad está a poca distancia, al igual que el centro de congresos Jaarbeurs, teatros, cines, tiendas, casi todo lo que se puede imaginar está justo aquí. Dies ist ein Eindruck des Bahnhofs Utrecht Central in den Niederlanden. Ein sehr belebter Ort, sicherlich während der Stoßzeiten. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß erreichbar, genauso wie das Kongresszentrum Jaarbeurs, Theater, Kinos, Geschäfte fast alles, was man sich vorstellen kann, ist hier. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist wegen des Verkehrs schwierig, deshalb fahren wir mit dem Bus oder dem Zug. Dieses ganze Gebiet wurde kürzlich komplett renoviert und sieht jetzt gut aus. Sehr bequem und schnell. Wenn Sie also durch Holland reisen, werden Sie wahrscheinlich auch diesen Ort sehen. Frohe Feiertage und genießen Sie sich in Utrecht, die Kanäle und Biere sind großartig!

Past weekend the last part of the bicycle parking Stationsplein Utrecht was completed and opened for public use. The parking garage currently houses over 12,500 parking places. This is the world’s largest bicycle parking.
The garage is situated next to Utrecht Central Railway Station (see my other video), the largest public transport hub in the Netherlands. The area around the station has been completely revitalized. The tour features a bicycle ride from outside to inside the parking garage and covers all three floors including the main exit deck at Utrecht Central Railway Station.

Cycling at Utrecht Central Station (Netherlands)
The changes going on around Utrecht Central Station from a cycling point of view. One cycle path completely vanished but new routes will be built. A bicycle parking facility for 12,500 bicycles will also be built shortly.

NS Stations wil, als beheerder van alle stationsgebouwen in Nederland, met Utrecht Centraal een station van wereldklasse leveren. Daarom wordt er letterlijk en figuurlijk veel energie gestoken in het drukste spoorknooppunt van Nederland. Maar hoeveel energie precies? In deze documentaire komen we op plekken waar u als reiziger normaal gesproken nooit komt. Wat speelt er zich af achter de schermen bij Utrecht Centraal?

Na lange tijd weer eens wat omroepen uit Nederland. Vanaf deze video ook met CTA op de achtergrond! De CTA bevat verschillende bewegende onderdelen. Zoals een bewegende klok, vertraging die afgewisseld wordt met het treintype en bij te veel tussenstops gaat de lijst met tussenstops net zoals in het echt ook naar boven bewegen. Nagenoeg alle omroepen die in deze video te horen zijn, zijn van het automatische omroepsysteem Tuffie Vos van de NS. Alles in deze video is Nederlands gesproken. Er is geen Duitse en of Engelse ondertiteling beschikbaar.
Nach langer Zeit gibt es hier wieder Bahnsteigansagen aus den Niederlanden. In diesem Video gibt es auch den Zugzielanzeiger der NS. Es gibt keine Deutsche oder Englische Übersetzung.
