Following the Battle of Mohács and nearly 150 years of Ottoman rule, the region entered a new age of prosperity, and Budapest became a global city with the unification of Buda and Óbuda on the west bank with Pest on the east bank on November 17, 1873. Budapest also became the co-capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a great power that dissolved in 1918, following World War I. Gellért-hegy, Budapest, Hungary (HUN/ENG SUB)
This will be a new series of videos about Budapest for those, who don't know their way around the capital city, like me before...I'll show you how to get to the famous sights, hopefully it'll help you out. I'll create subtitles in Hungarian and English, in order to help foreigners too. I knew already that I moved the camera too much in this video, so I have tried putting the image stabilizing effect on it, but after some time I started to get motion sickness from it. Please tell me if you think it is better if it looks shaky and amateur or should I keep using this stabilizing effect?
