[NEWS IN-DEPTH] S. Korea-U.S. military issues
한미 국방장관 회담
Visiting U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper met with South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo today.
A number of bilateral issues were discussed, including North Korea and the transfer of wartime operational control.
The new U.S. defense chief said South Korea is the linchpin of peace in Northeast Asia, also stressing the ironclad South Korea-U.S. alliance.
Much attention was focus on whether Esper would bring up the issue of increasing South Korea's share of defense costs, but not much was revealed about that.
For further discussion on this issue, Dr. Go Myong-hyun, research fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies,... joins me in the studio tonight.
- Trump: S. Korea should pay substantially more for defense costs. Why?
- during his opening statement said Japan's trade curbs are undermining S. Korea-U.S.-Japan trilateral security ties, but Esper did not make specific comments on that or on the hot button issue of GSOMIA. Do you think there was a discussion on GSOMIA that weren't revealed to the press?
- Deployment of ground-launched intermediate-range missiles in Asia and South Korea's participation in U.S.-led coalition to guard the Strait of Hormuz also garnered much attention prior to talks between the defense chiefs of S. Korea, U.S. But they were not brought up What does the U.S. want the most from S. Korea?
- Esper mentioned some progress made towards the conditions-based transition of the wartime operational control of the combined forces command... to a South Korean commander. He said this shows the strength and trust between the allies that no adversaries can match. Can you give us a recap on how things are on the OPCON front?
- North Korea claimed the projectiles launched on Tuesday were new tactical guided missiles and in a rare move, showed a video of the missiles destroying targets. It also boasted how the missiles few across the North's capital area and the central inland region to precisely hit the targeted islet in the East Sea. How do you analyse the claims?
- N. Korea also unveiled a photo of Kim Jong-un, who oversaw the missile launches, with a group of missile developers and high-ranking North Korean officials. What can we read from the picture?
- North Korea is set to hold its 14th Supreme People's Assembly on the 29th. Do you think the date was set in consideration of possible talks with the U.S.?
- Esper: U.S. and its allies will firmly implement UN sanctions until the North takes actions for a complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization. Further provocations expected from the North?
- No condemnation on North Korea's missile launches in the joint statement following Jeong-Esper defense talks. Why?

N. Korean leader sends handwritten letter to former first lady Lee Hee-ho
김성재
First, we begin with two South Korean delegations making a trip to the inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex on this Wednesday.
One group was led by Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jeong-eun, the other was from the Kim Dae-jung Peace Center.
And they came back with letters from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
One was written to Lee Hee-ho, the widow of late President Kim Dae-jung and the other to Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jeong-eun .
In those letters, Kim thanked both for the condolences they sent earlier this month ... on the third anniversary of his father Kim Jong-il′s death.
To former first lady Lee,... the North Korean leader also said he hopes she visits the North this coming spring.
The letters were delivered by Kim Yang-gon , North Korea′s top official in charge of South Korean affairs.
He reportedly said he hopes for improved inter-Korean relations in the new year.
To give you some context,... the two South Korea groups have special ties with Pyongyang.
Former President Kim Dae-jung held the first-ever inter-Korean summit in 2000.
And Hyundai Asan ran a joint tour program to the North′s Mount Kumgang resort until it was suspended in 2008.
Japan-Korea relations at 50: The weakest link in Asia
This year marks the 50th anniversary of normalized diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea. Unfortunately, the relationship between these two wealthy democracies remains hamstrung by historical resentment and territorial disputes. Although the United States needs to foster cooperation among its Asian partners in the face of growing Chinese aggression, Seoul and Tokyo are incapable of working together on basic issues. What political factors have contributed to current tensions, and what does the future hold for Japan–South Korea relations?
Please join us for a panel discussion on the state of Japan–South Korea affairs and America’s role in fostering cooperation between two of its most important Asian allies.

Nirvana, the ultimate happiness
And now it's time for our daily arts and culture segment with Yim Yoonhee, who joins us with a look at an exhibition on Buddhism.
Good afternoon.
So Buddhism is the most practiced form of religion here in Korea, and you recently visited a Buddhism-themed exhibition.
Right, to the Central Buddhist Museum in the heart of Seoul.
Over time, Buddhism has been more than a religion here in Korea,... it's also a source of history.
Take a look.
Buddhism, a religion based on the life of Siddhartha Guatama, also known as Buddha, who's millions of followers strive to reach the state of ultimate enlightenment and perfect peace,... nirvana.
It's an end to the repeating cycle of birth, life, and death, and upon cremation, those who have reached nirvana produce a sarira,... including Buddha, who his many followers believe is preserved through these sacred relics.
INTERVIEW
When Buddha first passed away, his body was referred to as a sarira. As Buddhism spread, sarira also extended to include any precious relics, usually referring to these small pearl like object, found in Buddha's ashes, as well as the ashes of other individuals who have reached nirvana.
The sarira was placed in a sacred case, carefully crafted to hold the precious remnant.
And it's the beautifully hand crafted case that has become the most important.
This process of enshrining the sarira became a sacred ritual, and 500 years after Buddha's death, a format for a special statue, called a pagoda, to hold the box was established.
Along with the sarira, inside each case was stored historical artifacts, like jade jewelry, talisman, and other riches of the time.
The result is a pocket of time, with priceless history preserved in the layers and layers of each reliquary.
INTERVIEW
After Buddha's death and cremation, his sariras were placed in special containers that had layers of gold, silver, bronze, and iron. This tradition of using the four materials in layers became a tradition in Buddhism.
This sarira container is interesting because the smallest container,... the one closest to the sarira, is actually made out of glass.
And this is because at that time, during the Shilla Dynasty, glass was extremely rare in Korea, and when it was first imported from the West, from places like Arabia and Turkey, green glass was considered especially precious.
Sarira worship has taken on many different forms through the many many years,... but with each protected sarira, also comes a protected piece of history as well.
Millions of people around the world continue to follow the example set by the life,... and death of Buddha.

An interesting exhibition to maybe check out this weekend, after the rain clears up.
This is actually a family friendly event.
They do have things to offer for children and adolescents,... to help them understand the exhibition.
When I was there, I didn't see too many children,... and it's frankly not ideal for them, because the material is a little bit more comprehensive than other museums.
But this program takes place every day the museum is open... to encourage the youth to get involved.
Now I know we have quite a few Buddhist sites to see here in the city.
I noticed in the report that the museum is located in Jongno-gu, nearby other Buddhism related spots.
The museum is located smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood heavily influenced by Buddhism.
The famous Jogyesa Temple is located there,... where you can enjoy a temple stay program.
There's also a Buddhist library, mediation centers, stores selling Buddhism related items and clothing... and I'm sure you remember the Lotus Lantern Festival we talked about just a few months ago.
Thank you for that report.
Always a pleasure. See you next week.
Message from Most Ven. Shi Hui Qing, China
Message for The 13th of International Buddhist Conference on the United Nations Day of Vesak 2016 from Most Venerable Shi Hui Qing, Vice Secretary-General Buddhist Association of China and President of Anhui Province Jiuhau Shan Buddhist Association of China, 23rd May 2016 at The United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
Japan sucker punched by The New York Times
The New York Times on October 28, 2014 published an article written by their Tokyo Bureau Chief, Mr. Martin Fackler. The title of the article “In Japan, Pressure to Forget Sins of War.” The title screams with condemnation of Nihon, Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun.
Reading further into the article it continues with screams, shouts, and finger pointing at Japan. The article leads off with Mr. Koichi Mizuguchi who lives in the northern part of Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. Mr. Mizuguchi discovered a graveyard said to be Korean bones. These are the bones of Korean laborers who worked in the area during World War Two.”
According to Mr. Fackler of The New York Times, those Koreans “laborers died of abuse, disease and malnutrition” A monument was attempted to be erected, however the mayor of the village put a halt to the project. According to Mr. Fackler’s article it was due to harassment from other Japanese who have been assigned to belonging to a group titled “Net Right.”
“Net Right” being cyperactivists who are extremists “have gained outsize influence with the rise of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s conservative government which shares their goal of ending negative portrayals of Japan’s history,” according to the article. Counter that with the U.S.A. where the liberals in the educational system gleefully relish in exposing the USA’s “negative” history with the goal of diminishing any form of patriotism.
It is amusing to read where The New York Times are now vilifying Japan’s conservative Prime Minister Abe for anything they perceive as negatives much as they did with President Bush. If sun spots erupted it was George Bush’s fault. Any harassment in Hokkaido, why of course blame Shinzo Abe. Liberals be they in the USA or in Asia are all the same.
This “Net Right” group is estimated to be around two thousand members in Japan. The article awards them with out of proportion clout. How about a little balance here? In South Korea there is a group of net citizens called VANK – V.A.N.K. – Voluntary Agency Network of Korea. The claim is it is an NGO (Non-Government Organization).
VANK enjoys a membership of around seventy-five thousand net citizens. Need a Facebook page hacked, VANK to the rescue.
Further in the article Mr. Fackler claims “A similar campaign led the city of Nagasaki……to delay approval of a cenotaph to Korean laborers who perished in the 1945 atomic bombing.” Really? Mr. Fackler must be writing about a second memorial / cenotaph because according to the two articles below one already exists in Nagasaki:
Articles noting a ceremony in front of a Korean cenotaph in Nagasaki.
In addition a monument to Korean atomic bomb victims in Nagasaki already exists and has been there since 1976:

TAGS,DMAMVMM,DMAMPROD
Hey, Marines, Sergeant Alex Smith here. On October 1st, 2017, in the midst of the chaos of the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, two Marines put themselves in harm's way to save as many people as possible. Sergeants Austin Cox and Michael Vura received the Navy and Marine Corps Medal April 29th during an awards ceremony at MCAS Pendleton California. Major General Kevin Liams said, On behalf of all your Marine Corps combat brothers and sisters, congratulations to the both of you. The Navy and Marine Corps Medal is the highest non-combat decoration awarded for heroism by the Department of the Navy. Also in the news, MCAS Iwakuni residents traveled to the Hiroshima Memorial Park as part of a Cultural Adaptation Program event in Hiroshima, Japan, on April 26th. The Cultural Adaptation Program hosted the event to allow residents an opportunity to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. And that's your Marine Minute.
Many thanks for watching,

Tbilisi Drone Flight: Tbilisi is the capital of the country of Georgia. Its cobblestoned old town reflects a long, complicated history, with periods under Persian and Russian rule. Its diverse architecture encompasses Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate art nouveau buildings and Soviet Modernist structures. Looming over it all are Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the “Mother of Georgia.” Tbilisis many celebrated churches include the post-Soviet Sameba Cathedral, 6th-century Anchiskhati Basilica and clifftop Metekhi Church, which overlooks the Mtkvari River. The citys main boulevard, Rustaveli Avenue, is lined with upscale stores, cafes and museums. These institutes include the Georgian National Museum, with a vast collection of pre-Christian archaeological finds, and the National Gallery, displaying 20th-century and contemporary Georgian artworks. To the south, the neighborhood of Abanotubani is known for its dome-shaped sulphur bathhouses, many of which were built in the 17th century. [wikipedia // Google]

Words at War: Ten Escape From Tojo / What To Do With Germany / Battles: Pearl Harbor To Coral Sea
The Battle of the Coral Sea, fought from 4--8 May 1942, was a major naval battle in the Pacific Theater of World War II between the Imperial Japanese Navy and Allied naval and air forces from the United States and Australia. The battle was the first action in which aircraft carriers engaged each other, as well as the first in which neither side's ships sighted or fired directly upon the other.
In an attempt to strengthen their defensive positioning for their empire in the South Pacific, Imperial Japanese forces decided to invade and occupy Port Moresby in New Guinea and Tulagi in the southeastern Solomon Islands. The plan to accomplish this, called Operation MO, involved several major units of Japan's Combined Fleet, including two fleet carriers and a light carrier to provide air cover for the invasion fleets, under the overall command of Shigeyoshi Inoue. The U.S. learned of the Japanese plan through signals intelligence and sent two United States Navy carrier task forces and a joint Australian-American cruiser force, under the overall command of American Admiral Frank J. Fletcher, to oppose the Japanese offensive.
On 3--4 May, Japanese forces successfully invaded and occupied Tulagi, although several of their supporting warships were surprised and sunk or damaged by aircraft from the U.S. fleet carrier Yorktown. Now aware of the presence of U.S. carriers in the area, the Japanese fleet carriers entered the Coral Sea with the intention of finding and destroying the Allied naval forces.
Beginning on 7 May, the carrier forces from the two sides exchanged airstrikes over two consecutive days. The first day, the U.S. sank the Japanese light carrier Shōhō, while the Japanese sank a U.S. destroyer and heavily damaged a fleet oiler (which was later scuttled). The next day, the Japanese fleet carrier Shōkaku was heavily damaged, the U.S. fleet carrier Lexington was critically damaged (and was scuttled as a result), and the Yorktown was damaged. With both sides having suffered heavy losses in aircraft and carriers damaged or sunk, the two fleets disengaged and retired from the battle area. Because of the loss of carrier air cover, Inoue recalled the Port Moresby invasion fleet, intending to try again later.
Although a tactical victory for the Japanese in terms of ships sunk, the battle would prove to be a strategic victory for the Allies for several reasons. Japanese expansion, seemingly unstoppable until then, was turned back for the first time. More importantly, the Japanese fleet carriers Shōkaku and Zuikaku -- one damaged and the other with a depleted aircraft complement -- were unable to participate in the Battle of Midway, which took place the following month, ensuring a rough parity in aircraft between the two adversaries and contributing significantly to the U.S. victory in that battle. The severe losses in carriers at Midway prevented the Japanese from reattempting to invade Port Moresby from the ocean. Two months later, the Allies took advantage of Japan's resulting strategic vulnerability in the South Pacific and launched the Guadalcanal Campaign that, along with the New Guinea Campaign, eventually broke Japanese defenses in the South Pacific and was a significant contributing factor to Japan's ultimate defeat in World War II.

NYSTV - The Chinese Dragon King Nephilim (Illuminati) Bloodline w Gary Wayne - Multi Language
The Chinese Illuminati Bloodlines receive little attention although they control a good portion of world politics. These Chinese ruling bloodlines claim descent from the Dragon Kings and given a birthright to rule.
This is pretty much the same story we see with the European Royal Families. All the Monarchs of Europe are actually one family tree. They also claim descent from the Dragon Kings. In fact, the symbol of England is a red dragon.
Gary Wayne is an expert in UFOs, Ancient Aliens, Ancient Bloodlines, Freemasonry, Transhumanism and Nephilm History, Lucifer and much more.
His book, The Genesis 6 Conspiracy is a complete outline of who the Illuminati are and where they came from.
