Movie Strike of Female Spool Tenders of Żyrardów - True Story (2014) (subtitles)

The film was created to celebrate 130th anniversary of outbrake of one of the first strikes in the world initiated by women, and both the first and the greatest clash with the tsarist army in the Polish Kingdom after the January Uprising, that took place on 23-28 April 1883 in Żyrardow . The film was shot in autum 2013, in the historic nineteenth-century factory settlement, which in 2012 was declared the Monument of History.
