Stegastein viewpoint over Aurlandsfjord - Norway
The most beautiful viewpoint over the Norway's Fjords (Aurlandsfjord). It is located near flåm city and you need a car to reach the location. If you don't have a car it is possible to rent a tiny 2 person electric car and drive up here from flåm. Cars are really tiny and funny

Vangen Church (Aurland), Church in Aurland, Norway
Vangen Church (Norwegian: Vangen kyrkje) is the main parish church in Aurland Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the village of Aurlandsvangen, at the end of the Aurlandsfjorden. The church is part of the Vangen parish in the Indre Sogn deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, stone church, which is in early Gothic style, was probably built in two stages in the 1200s. There is a foundation stone in the church on which the date 2 May 1202 is inscribed. The church was restored both in 1861-1862 and in 1926
Vangen church is the largest of the seven medieval stone churches in the county, leading it to be called the Sognedomen or Sogn Cathedral.

Otternes, Norway
5/31/2015
Otternes was a traditional Norwegian farm village dated back to 1700. It was continuously occupied until the last residents moved out in the 90's. It's now managed as a museum, with everything kept as intact as possible, including farm animals. Not knowing its open hours, I arrived at Otternes at 5:30pm when it's already closed for the day. As this was my last chance to see it, I squeezed through the gate to take some photos of the ground. There I ran into one of the original Otternes families who happened to stop by to check on the animals. They caught me trespassing (sort of) yet still gave me a warm welcome. They opened the house they left in 1989, now part of the museum, to show me what life was like back in those farming days. They take good care of animals and they take good care of their fellow human beings. Norwegians are kind people.
