Canada Geese Gathering in Steinbach Oct 2018
The Canada Goose population grows exponentially every fall in Steinbach Manitoba. The geese gather together in preparation to their flight south for the winter.
Steinbach has many open ponds that attract the geese. This pond is at the Mennonite Heritage Village just across the road from the Golf course and the Clearspring Shopping Mall.
This video was recorded on October 26, 2018. A few days later on October drove by on October 28 and a large number had already departed. There are a few small groups still doing their practice flights but the majority have gone south for the winter.
Does anyone have any idea how to harness a goose? I'd like to fly south with them!
