The Stella Maris Monastery or the Monastery of Our Lady of Mount Carmel for monks is a 19th-century Discalced Carmelite monastery located on the slopes of Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel. Another Carmelite monastery of the same name is reserved for nuns and is located higher up on Mount Carmel.

The city of Haifa is so beautiful and diverse, that it's impossible to show all it's beauty in one short film, therefore this is our first part of Haifa sketches. We started flying over the Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery, built in the 19th century. Just across from the monastery there is an Old Lighthouse with a magnificent view of the sea. We also filmed International Convention Center, the largest international congress center. You can also notice the building of Haifa mall nearby.
