Stellar Children's Museum, Greater Noida
Mom and Baby's day of Activity at Stellar Museum | A Classic Mom
The concept of children’s museum is very new to people in India, Very few people know about this place as it is not really promoted like Kidzania and it is far from the city. I have been getting Laksh to Stellar Museum for long long time now he really enjoys spending time in this place so I wanted to show you guys how awesome this place is!. But before that..stick till the end to participate in my 7K subscriber contest and you know what the winner is going to get??? 5000 Rs cash!!!
SO if you want to get you kids here you can come from Tuesday through Sunday. Mondays are closed. On weekdays it opens at 10 and weekends it opens at 11 am...you child can learn play explore and whatever he or she wants to do man till evening 6 pm . For general visitors entry for a child is 500/- and for members of Stellar Gymkhana it is Rs 250...for adults entry is 200 for non members and 100 for members. The best part is once you enter there is not stop time..your child can actually be in there for hours and hours together even the entire day.
As you can see the entire museum is divided into six galleries to explore - Invent it, Splash it , build it, live it, create t and explore it.
You know why I choose this for Laksh is this place is because – it is an indoor interactive and safe play area or kids, it is not very crowded and kids get this interactive experience to challenge their developing minds. It is family friendly...parents can sit and chill seeing their kids have fun. You do not need to guide them in doing a certain activity as it is self explanatory and they learn exploring and learning by themselves. It is actually a perfect place for kids age 4 – 7 yrs. It is full of exhibit involving science, art, music, experiential play, imagination, role play and basically encourages childhood discovery. It doesn’t fall in the category of no touch museums as children here can use touch feel and all their sensory organs to learn new things and have fun.
Lets begin with the first exhibit – Invent it...as you enter you will find a section called Invent it where children can explore gravity and magnetism. Isn't that fantastic. There are sections where these curious minds can explore and retention is guaranteed because they learn through experimenting and discovery
Create It is a section where you explore visual arts ...so they can paint, play music with instruments – not the regular tablas and guitar but with utensils and many more items that creates sound and people you need to close your ears when they are here!
Explore It – is Lakshus favourite as you can very well see the little explorer in him explode when he is in this section..it is basically a safari through forests where they can go through twisty tunnels and find their way out on their own...fun no?
Live It- well ek hi life hai lets live it to the most...this is basically the role play area where our little champs can pick veges, grow them ...take their cute little baskets and buy them from the mart, then cook it in the kitchen area with their own hands and of course they must put their chef hats on and serve it to their friends or eat them on their own ...so so cute.
Build it – is all about creating different things from clay and blocks where they can make cars and race with friends...vroom vroom
Last section which I think is fantastic and is my favourite – Splash It- it is at the end of the hall where kids get to play with water...experiment section and there is a roller coaster section too where kids can make their tracks and run their vehicles...super super interesting and fun
So five things that Laksh enjoyed and you must do when you visit Stellar
1. Explore it section where he was like a pint size solider walking and maneuvering through the jungle and the tunnels and finding his way out
2. The Live it section where you see a Market place and a cafe area. Pick your own fruits and vegetables from the mart...cook it and serve it to your customers in the cafe
3. Build it section where he could make a car, truck, bus and race it on the racer track
4. Pin Screen was an activity which is so entertaining that can keep him glued for hours..infact I also had fun using hands...laksh used his body, face impressions on the pin screen...too too fun
5. Splash it section where he played with water
Apart from the regular activities, you can also rent space to celebrate your kids birthday...you cannot get outside food. You can cater or use their cafe for food.
Laksh loves his time here at Stellar Kids museum , i hope you enjoyed this episode as much as I did creating it. Don’t forget to participate in the 7K contest.
