Bride Killed in Helicopter Crash (Warning: Distressing Footage)
Warning: This is a distressing video. A video has been released showing a helicopter crash that killed four people on board a helicopter en-route to a wedding (December, 2016). The 32-year-old bride, Rosemere do Nascimento, had planned to surprise her fiancé Udirley Damasceno, who was waiting at the altar when the chopper crash landed a mile from the reception venue in a rural area on the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil.
While it's *generally* unfair to speculate, the R44 piston machine was in what clearly appears to be IMC. Watch what happens to the aggressive bank around the 1:42 min mark before control is lost. It was careless flying.
All occupants (including a pregnant photopgrapher, Nayla Cristina Neves) were killed.

End of the World? No, but were still watching the Tropics
Just like yesterday we continue to watch Invest 93W for possible development, this area of thunderstorms continue to pulse up and down today yet no organized and clear center of circulation has been established. Still models continue to want to develop this over the next several days.
Where this storm would be going if it does develops is fairly clear at this point, running west along the southern periphery of the high pressure ridge over Guam. This would be a very similar track as Bopha so if this storm was to develop the long range implications would be very serious for the Philippines.
The good news is that is just that at this time, long range. We still have a lot of time to watch this area and the possible development of it.
Across the North China is seeing a low pressure area develop today and move towards the east as it does so. It will bring heavy rains across Japan going through Saturda, then as the storm continues to push east expect cold air from the Nroth to start to rush south dropping temperatures across much of eastern asia.

The Desire Map Facilitator Program for Yoga Instructors
Yoga people! I LOVE you!
Desire Mapping and yoga is like…
Avocado and gluten-free toast.
Savasana and a beautiful mexican serape.
Wanderlust and fresh mountain air.
Fire breathing and a good base beat.
Candle-lit yoga studio on a Sunday night.
Goals with soul.
I wrote a book called The Desire Map. It’s all about discovering your Core Desired Feelings, which you then use to design your life in a more conscious way.
When we were rolling out The Desire Map Facilitator Program to the Universe, it became very clear that this was a perfect combination for yoga instructors.
I know that all you yogis, and yoginis, and yoga-rific people who I SO adore want to be doing workshops and retreats, but you cannot do 72 hours of asanas (unless you’re *really* hardcore). You need something else to create a whole experience that deepens everything else for your participants.
Enter, The Desire Map. In collaboration with other yoga teachers who have been using this already with great success, we have created a specific Yoga + Desire Map workshop and retreat curriculum.
The experience for their people is deeper: they are moving to their Core Desired Feelings are they are discovering them. It is a truly holistic experience AND, on a business level, it is helping yoga teachers fill their retreats. And I know you wanna do that.

The Wedding Film of Nicholas and Emily Anne Ponomarev
This nature filled wedding was absolutely gorgeous! But what is so fitting about that, is that Nick and Em are two, down to earth, natural people that love each other without reservation. Their wedding was a clear representation of that. Although their whole day was amazing, the end of their wedding ended with a bang!

Jeff Denmeade Pikes Peak 2016 T2 EVO 8
Pikes Peak 2016 Time Attack 2 Class EVO 8 driven by Australian rally driver Jeff Denmeade of Meadsports with prep and crew support by Road Race Engineering. Tuning by David Hinde of Merlin Tuning.
Final results for Time Attack 2 Production were:
1st Place Nick Robinson 2017 Acura NSX Hybrid - 10:28
2nd Place Kevin Wesley 2016 Viper ACR - 10:39
3rd Place Stephanie Reaves 2016 Viper ACR - 10:56
4th Place JEff Denmeade 2003 EVO 8 - 11:32
5th Place Fumio Nutahara 2015 GT86 12:36
DNF Kash Singh 2016 Ford Mustang
Jeff's recap of race day:
After seeing that we had a small chance to take the number 2 Viper, we knew 4th place was ours to loose, a finish was more important than a fantasy. The mountain was yet to play all it's cards, it had 10 hours left to teach some lessons.
With an amazing amount of red flags that left us bewildered, with a huge amount of cars being turned around and sent back down the hill for restarts the day dragged on.
Finally the gates opened for us and we were let into the start zone area, safety checked, and given the clear order, we were now under starter orders.
Revs raised, launch control enabled. Great start! The best all weekend. A good start, even on a rally usually, seemingly, sets the atmosphere for the mood for the run.
Concentrating on accuracy first for the lower section, quickly in 4th gear hitting all the high speed apexes, all in 4th gear. This sets the mind up for the run, accuracy first, speed second.
In all the run was effortless, even faultless, but at some point it felt like the car simply ran out of air, not pulling as strong as it did in practice, no real time to fight it, just had to keep getting it to the apexes. Suddenly cars were stopped all over the course, hoods up and steam coming out, in large places there was little grip on the pavement due to heat, brake zones were harder to read with over run forcing diving into the apexes.
Data later showed that the car ran out of air, due to a zone on the mountain where there was simply no humidity to cool the air going into the airbox, or radiator. The car became a barometer meter itself. The car spiked from 97 degrees celsius, to a whopping 113 in this odd 'dead-zone'. But the old dog hung in there.
Running the same specification we ran in 2010 when we won the Time Attack class, even the same turbo, the old EVO proved it can run reliably, with simple ecu updates and reflashes running constant all week.
Typical of Pikes Peak, we were entertained with a ice storm at the finish line. Then a hail storm at the top. Leaving for the trip back down the mountain, all of us had to tip toe down a few miles on the ice with race rubber, when we were rounded up let loose to come down under a safety car. How we all made it down without someone sliding off is beyond me.
Only one car didn't make up due to the storm, when the Ecoboost Mustang simply couldn't go up the hills on the ice, at some point sliding backwards down the road, deciding to park it for safety sake.
End result, 4th, which was expected, and achieved, and not wasted. We drive the car up into the trailer on it's own power, lock it down, and have a post race drink in the spa.
In reflection, it was an amazing year, and the team was simply the best to have around me. Mike and Matt and Bryce from Road Race Engineering in California, and our tuner David Hinde (aka Merlin) from Sydney kept the car at it's peak, and were always ahead of the curve on anything that may have happened. We'll be back.
Cheers to all.
Jeff

Mount Raung: Authorities extend flight ban to and from Bali due to danger from volcanic ash cloud
Mount Raung: Authorities extend flight ban to and from Bali due to danger from volcanic ash cloud
By Indonesia correspondent George Roberts and staff

International passengers wait for postponed flights at Denpasar
International Airport
More than 2,000 Australians remain stranded in Bali after authorities extended a ban on flights to and from the resort island because of a volcanic ash cloud from Indonesia's Mount Raung.
The mountain in East Java is about 150 kilometres from Denpasar, but the ash has been blown into the flight path and forced the international airport and four other Indonesian airports to close.
The Bureau of Metrology expects passengers to be impacted for at least the next two days.
Another assessment of whether to open Bali's Ngurah Rai international airport will be made later today.

Some Australians have already been stuck in Bali for days and some travellers have been told they may not be able to get a flight home until the end of the month.
Virgin Australia has cancelled all flights between Australia and Bali today and will update customers at 3:00pm today.
Jetsar has cancelled most of the day's flights and will make a decision on the rest about lunchtime.
Angeline Prasad from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre said the 5,000-metre high plumes over Java were expected to shift towards the ocean in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Over the next two days the plume ... there is a chance the plume may shift towards the south of the volcano. So that would mean that it would clear over Bali, she said.
The Advisory Centre's Stephanie Bond said as well as causing visibility problems, the ash is hazardous to aircraft.
It is abrasive and [can] cause engine failure. For health when ash falls to ground it can be a problem and that's why most of the time local volcano agencies declare a no-go zone.
Cancer patient 'fearful' after cancellations
An Australian tourist stranded in Bali said her airline told her to go to a chemist when she told them she was running out of vital cancer medication.
Sue Krucker, 50, was on a 10-day holiday with her husband Urban Krucker, 46, and their three children, aged 9, 16 and 19, when their July 4 return flight was cancelled due to ash from the erupting Mount Raung.
The family are among thousands of holidaymakers who have been stranded in Bali for days as the volcano's ash cloud disrupts flights around the region.
I'm on a specific cocktail of medication and I brought enough for the 10 days, plus one extra day just in case I dropped tablets, Ms Krucker said.
I took those last medications on Sunday of last week when I should have been home.
Ms Krucker, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in June last year and has undergone surgery and chemotherapy, said her husband had explained the situation to Virgin Australia, who suggested the family just go to the chemist.
[It's] quite ludicrous given that not every chemist can stock this specific medication, she said.
After consulting with her oncologist in Australia, Ms Krucker said she was not concerned about missing one or two days of the medication, but became fearful after their rescheduled flights were cancelled twice.
Ms Krucker said it was disappointing to have such a dramatic end to a holiday which was supposed to be a healing experience for her family.
