Sweden: Exploring Stockholm on guided tours
Sweden: Exploring Stockholm with guided tours
We visit one of the most beautiful cities in Sweden. There is so much to do in Stockholm with kids. We did a couple of sightseeing tours in the city. One walking and one boat cruise. We also had fika and a brief walk through Gamla Stan and stopped by the royal palace to say hello to the guards.
iIf you are wondering what to do in the capital city, or even Where is Stockholm? (it's in the south of the country), we've got a few answers over the next few videos. We cover several things to do in Stockholm in this first one. Our favorite may be fika. We had lovely moderate weather during our visit. We chose an airbnb over a hotel as our accommodation because it was cheaper and we could take a quick train in. We also got a Stockholm pass which was very useful for museums, boats, busses, and tours. After all they claim to be the cultural capital of Scandinavia.
Stockholm travel is fantastic!
I will also say that despite the reports to the contrary, we felt more safe in Stockholm than just about any other city in Europe. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is a very clean and well run city, especially the transportation system, which is very easy to use.

Sweden: Stockholm Archipelago Historic All Day Boat Tour
Sweden: Stockholm Archipelago Historic All Day Boat Tour
On our third day in Stockholm we took the 1000 Islands cruise of the archipelago with Stromma, a company that offers a bunch of different tours around Stockholm. Our trip lasted 11 hours and were served a delicious lunch, fika, and dinner. We stopped at three different islands throughout the day with an optional tour at each one in both English and Swedish. The boat was a restored cruiser built in 1908 with lots of great wood and brass detailing. While you can get to some of the places we went via the ferry system, it's much more efficient to go on a cruise. We all had a great time learning about the the Baltic Sea and the history of the islands. The weather held off until the very last half hour when the rain finally started. It was a great and different adventure.
Tour we took:

Stockholm: Private Palace tour and stock footage
Stockholm: Private Palace tour and stock footage
Melynda and the boys took a rest day (well the boys did) and I headed in to the city in the morning to shoot stock footage. Stockholm is a meandering city of islands connected by a transport system of bridges and ferries that make it very easy to get around.
Later we met up with our Context tour guide ( ) for our customized tour of the palace and Gamla Stan. We also saw the changing of the guards and the display of royal carriages which was really interesting.
This was our second tour with Context. You can read about the first one here:

Exploring Stockholm
Had a great day with my friend Adam in Stockholm and managed to see one of my closest friends the wonderful Martin!
Sweden: Stockholm Exploring Skansen and Vasa Museum
Sweden: Stockholm Exploring Skansen and Vasa Museum
Our second day in Stockholm Sweden and we took a ferry to the Skansen culture park and the Vasa Museum as well as the some fika, of course. The island of Djurgarden is a wonderful respite from much of the hustle and bustle of the capital of Scandinavia and the access pass covers ferry rides. We skipped the Grona Lund amusement park and only had enough energy for these two museums on the island though there are many more including the Nordic Museum. We were very impressed by the Vasa Museum. Amazing. We again had excellent Stockholm weather and were able to get in quickly and easily from our airbnb accommodation in the suburbs. Getting around the city is fantastically easy. And we felt save and welcome the whole time we were there.

Loginn Hotell & Konferans - Stockholm Sweden
This charming hotel boat is located in central Stockholm. All rooms have Shower, Toilet and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a sea view, others are facing Södermalm.
The ship's upper floor is a lounge area where you can find a restaurant, a bar and a smaller lounge room with a classic, old fashioned design. At the ship's roof top area, you will be able to enjoy the fantastic view along with the sunset going down over the City hall, where the Nobel Prizes are awarded (where the Noble Prize Award are held). Have a warm glass of Gluehwein from the hotel bar or a cold drink from our Caribbean bar that is open during the summers (summer).
The ship is centrally located, close to Old-town and ferries to Djurgården, with all its attractions and museums. There are good parking facilities next to the hotel
All rooms are cabin designed, with private shower and toilet. We have tried to keep the feeling from 1929, back when the ship was designed with a Titanic touch. Staying at Loginn Hotel is not only an ordinary hotel visit; it is also a time travelling experience!

Luxury Penthouses Of Johannesburg, South Africa, Stockholm Sweden, Melbourne Australia
Johannesburg South Africa
A penthouse is certainly a place which involves money, luxury, evolution and the concept of a “smart house”. It is also the case with this three-level penthouse in Johannesburg, South Africa, which is the best example of evolution in the 21st century, standing for the idea of “smart home” with all sorts of automatic objects, lighting, safety and individualism at the same time.
Stockholm Sweden
Sweden is already world famous for its top of the line designs and styles. Hence it comes as no surprise when we see this stunning penthouse . It is simply ‘to –die – for’ , to say the least. It seems like no expense has been spared in its décor . To give it the current look, the owners/designers must have spend a truck load as it sure does looks simply gorgeous. The white background with shades of pastel here and there is just perfect. Luxury furnishing from bedroom to living room, from verandah to dining room – all is ideal.
Melbourne Australia
Located in Melbourne, Australia, the Coppin Penthouse impresses with its amazing design, sophisticated interior and overall luxurious charm. It benefits from a wonderful location from where it offers expansive views over the city. The overall design of this penthouse is contemporary, with simple and lean lines and with a simplicity that gives it style. But there are also other features besides the interior design that impress in this case.
Soutbank Melbourne, Australia
Located in Queensbridge Square (Freshwater Place), Southbank, Melbourne, this beautiful penthouse features a very stylish interior design with many sophisticated details. The apartment is currently listed on the market. It has a total of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a spacious living area that shares an open floor plan with the dining room and the kitchen. But the most interesting and amazing detail about this penthouse is the fact that it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area, the city, the bay and beyond.

Number 2. FREDHÄLLSBADET.
On the southwest of Kungsholmen, against Tranebergssund, you’ll find Fredhällsbadet. Here you cool down from the rocks or jetties and enjoy the sun in the grass or on the wood deck while enjoying the great view of summer Stockholm. Flatenbadet is adapted for the disabled, has toilets and you’re allowed to grill.

There’s more than the Bellman Museum and an old prison on the island Långholmen, north of Södermalm. Here you can also find a beautiful beach with rocks.
