Views of the Zbiersk railway under SKPL on 15 and 16 September 2003:
0:00 Lxd2 leaving Opatowek with train of standard gauge wagons loaded with stone, themselves loaded onto transporters.
1:36 Probably the same train, crossing the Kalisz - Turek road north of Debe and passing through Biernatki Wask. station.
4:04 Probably the same train arrives at Zelazkow, where the wagons of an earlier train are being unloaded. Another Lxd2 is shunting wagons into the siding and then the second train is shunted into the siding and the locos are uncoupled from the wagons.
9:44 The two locos pass Zlotniki Wielkie on their way back to the depot at Zbiersk.
10:58 The following morning one loco has probably already brought a train of empty wagons to Opatowek and the loco is running into a siding as a second train arrives. The locos then swap round rakes of sg wagons and, with one set of empty wagons in the 'rollwagon pit', the second loco removes some empty transporters from the adjacent siding.
13:27 While one loco keeps the transporters tightly together, the second uses a cable to haul them all off the end of the line of transporters, onto the standard gauge siding.
15:25 A Lxd2 hauls three sg wagons (presumably loaded with stone) over the Swedrnia river bridge south of Debe.
16:25 The same or a following train heading for Zelazkow, I believe the location is the approach to Biernatki Dominium.
17:24 The wagons having been left at Zelazkow, the two locos head north for Zbiersk again, here seen crossing the road to Stawiszyn at Petryki.

In 1884 he reinterpreted Polish highlanders’ songs and now I took his work and translated it into my language of jazz, folk, classical and electronic music. Lxd2 slog at Zbiersk 2004
I thought I'd upload this clip separately as, although it's in the longer video that covers several days' activity, I think it's worth drawing particular attention to.
It shows a Lxd2 with a train of three sg wagons loaded with stone and mounted on transporters, heading from the sg interchange at Opatowek to the unloading point at Zelazkow, and here tackling the gradient past the village of Debe on 29 September 2004.
At the start of the clip the train is on modest gradients south of the road crossing. A brief toot can be heard as it approaches the road, which is crossed at about 1:35. The train then descends to the river bridge, the location of which can be determined by the guard rails inside the running rails, after which the line starts to climb steeply; the cloud of smoke at about 2:26 shows where the driver fully opens up the engine. The train climbs past the school and crosses the agricultural track beside which I was standing a eventually disappears in the distance, still climbing - I don't think the gradient ends until the level crossing with the Kalisz - Turek road shortly before Biernatki Wask. station.

Ulica Spichrzowa - jedyna taka ulica.
Ostrów Wlkp. nie jest może zbyt pięknym miastem ale jest nasz i może się podobać. Szkoda tylko, że są takie miejsca, w których od paru lat nic się nie dzieje a zniszczone budynki straszą swoją szpetotą - jak na przykład te przy ulicy Spichrzowej.

The students were given some key phrases and their task was to write a script and present the play in front of an audience of students from the seven countries taking part in the project. The theater project DR:EAMS (Drama Europe-Art-Mobility at School): Our Europe: strangers and friends, is an example of cooperation and unity between different cultures. The project is a result of the joint work of seven European countries: Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, Italy, Hungary, Turkey and Lithuania. It is addressed to teenagers and its main goal is to enable students to overcome prejudice and learn more about other European societies while having fun, working in a group, counting on and getting to know each other.

In the former Waldlager of the Chelmno nad Ner death camp, a number of saved gravestones from the Jewish cemetary in Turek have been placed.
Alongside the people, the Nazis sought to destroy the traces of their Jewish victims, including buildings and cemetaries.
These stones have been saved and are prominently placed close to the place where the descendants pf the people they commemorate were murdered.
