Kinsmen Lake Stonewall Quarry Park Manitoba
Stonewall, Quarry Park Kinsmen Lake by: Gail Spencer Lamm. Stonewall, is a bedroom community of Winnipeg, 20 minutes North. It is home to a historic quarry with intact lime kilns and a man made lake. Stonewall, Quarry Park is a great place to spend a sunny day, swimming and playing in the sand.

스톤월 채석장 공원(Stonewall Quarry Park)을 방문하여 전시물을 구경하고 공원을 산책했습니다. 스톤월 채석장(Stonewall Quarry)은 1870년 이후 정착민들의 유입과 1880년대의 건축붐에 힘입어 돌과 석회(lime)이 필요하자 이곳에 가마(kiln)를 3개 짓고 석회를 생산하기 시작했습니다. 이 채석장은 1960년대까지 운영되었습니다.
현재의 전시장 건물은 이전에 있던 목조건물 전시관이 2007년 화재로 전소되자 2011년에 재건축한 것입니다.
