The 28th edition of the steam train festival in Maldegem remembers the end of World War I that happened exactly 100 years ago in 2018. 7 steam locomotives are present with train rides for the public every hour. There are also many historical scenes, actors in uniforms, as well as a performance of the Last Post.

A few shots of yet another wonderful steam festival at the Maldegem Stoomcentrum, located near Brugge in Belguim. The festival happens every May Holiday and is well worth a visit. Steam, beer, chocolates and good company, what else could you wish for!! Just an hour and a bit from the ferry.
