HUE VIETNAM IS AWESOME

I take a road trip to Hue Vietnam with some friends making several stops along the way and eating lots of great Hue Vietnamese food. The Hue Vietnam food is delicious and later we go on a mission for deserts.
It's easy to miss Hue Vietnam if you're cruising up the coast as most stop in places like Nha Trang when going from Saigon aka HCMC to Hanoi. I did miss this city the first time but glad I got to visit it this time and hope to return to Vietnam sooner than later.

Top 5 Things to do in Hue, Vietnam
Hue is a small town in Vietnam full of rich culture and history. We spent 5 days exploring former royal palaces in the imperial citadel as well as tombs of some of the great Vietnamese Nguyen emperors.
For our first stop we take you to to the very famous Imperial City of Hue. Hue was the former capital of Vietnam two times throughout history and so Hue houses one of the most impressive ancient cities in Vietnam.
Address: Thành phố Huế, Thua Thien Hue, Vietnam
Hours: Monday - Sunday 8am–5:30pm
Next up we head to a local Vietnamese market nearby. The largest of its kind in Hue being Dong Ba Market. It's 16000 square meters (not km as mentioned in the video sorry!) Worth a visit if you're looking for some cheap goods or a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine and street food.
Address: 2 Trần Hưng Đạo, Phú Hoà, Thành phố Huế, Thừa Thiên
Hours: Monday - Sunday 6am–6pm
One thing you don't want to miss while you're in Hue is the Perfume River. Its waterways run throughout the entire city and many of the most popular tourist destinations lie along Perfume River's banks. We decided to travel via boat.
We went through tour operators
On the boat ride down Perfume River we stopped off at our next destination - Thien Mu Pagoda. You can also reach Thien Mu Pagoda by car but it is a little bit far. Going by boat to Thien Mu Pagoda is definitely the best option.
Address: Hương Hòa, Thành phố Huế, Hương Hòa Thành phố Huế Thừa Thiên Huế 532761, Vietnam
Hours: Monday - Sunday 8am–6pm
Finally you can't leave Hue without viewing the impressive tombs of the famous Vietnam emperors. We chose a mix of traditional design and architecture by visiting Minh Mạng's tomb:
Address: QL49, Hương Thọ, Hương Trà, Thừa Thiên Huế, Vietnam
And also what had to have been our favourite destination of Hue which was the Royal Tomb of Khai Dinh which architecturally was ahead of its time.
Address: Khải Định, Thủy Bằng, Hương Thủy, Thừa Thiên Huế 530000, Vietnam
Both tombs open from
Hours: Monday - Sunday 7am–5:30pm

Ting Ting and I (Trevor James, The Food Ranger), made our way to Vietnam solely to eat street food. Since we love street food around the world, we decided that Vietnam was the perfect holiday destination for street food to try, because it's supposed to be the best and we love watching new street food recipes and street food flavors as we adventure down deep, back alleyways, getting lost into new street food worlds. So far, in our Vietnamese street food tour series, we've eaten street food in Hanoi, and then we took the sleeper train south 12 hours to Hue. Hue is the old ancient capital of Vietnam, and is packed full of different street food to try. We spent 4 days here eating and couldn't get enough of all the street food. Asian street food is the best, and in Vietnam, it doesn't get any better!
We found 11 different Vietnamese street foods in this video. If you arrive here looking to eat, you can follow along with these addresses:
1) Bun Bo hue @02:44- The specialty street food Beef and pork broth noodle soup of Hue, Vietnam - It’s absolutely rich and delicious! Found at the Dong Ba market early morning around 730am. Go to the outside of the street market and find the old ladies with big pots of good street food and you’ll discover a ton!
2) Bun Hen @ 06:10 Spicy Clam noodle soup - Also found at the Dong Ba Market in Hue, Vietnam, in the early morning! Just look around the outside of the market, the perimeter, not on the inside.
3) Banh Tam Banana Leaf @ 09:44 wrapped around marinated shrimp - Found directly beside the Bun Hen at Dong Ba market
4) Veg Soup @ 11:27 - Also found at Dong Ba Street Food Market in Hue, Vietnam
5) Bun Tith Nuong @ 14:37 Grilled pork over top of rice noodles. These was my favorite meal from Hue, and so cheap at 10,000 Vietnamese dong! Bun Thit Nuong 66 Bạch Đằng
6) Banh Mi Vietnamese Sandwich @ 17:55- This one was quite average. But still fun to eat! This one was at the intersection of Xuan 68 and Le Thanh Ton street inside Hue’s old city.
7) Douhua Silken Tofu @ 21:27 - This was a street food vendor carrying the food on wooden poles, so you have to be lucky at the right place at the right time. We were at the location below around 4:30 PM and she came along.
8) Banh Tran Truong “Vietnamese Pizza made from rice paper” @ 22:54. You can find this one inside the old city on 14 Le Thanh Ton Street in Hue, Vietnam
9) Banh Ep - Flattened rice paper dough with raw egg grilled @ 22:54 - Same location as the Vietnamese rice paper pizza
10) Nem Lui Vietnamese Pork Skewers @ 25:56 - These were found at 241 Huynh Thuc Khang - TP, Hue, Vietnam
11) Banh Xeo Vietnamese pancakes @ 25:56 - Same location as above, 241 Hyun Thuc Khang - TP. Hue, Vietnam

Delicious Vietnamese Cuisine in Hue: 1 Night in Hue 2015
Vietnamese food in Hue is simply delicious. There aren't many other cities with its own unique cuisine or dialect as much as Hue as far as I know. I've been to many places in Vietnam. When I arrived in Hue, I instantly wanted to find bun bo hue, but was a little bit lost with trying to make it on time for the Forbidden City or the Citadel. I was so hungry that I had to stop to eat and a random lady who was making bun bo hue for her family fixed me up a bowl right next to the Citadel. Beautiful late afternoon dinner with a gentle breeze. By the time I finished, the Citadel already closed. So I worked up an appetite out of anger that I had missed it again for the second time in a year. Next, I went to a familiar restaurant and ate some banh beo, banh nam, banh loc- all famous Hue starch based cakes and love love love. Then I still felt hungry and went across town to eat some banh canh ca loc- which is snakehead fish banh canh. Then I met up with Luong and his friends and ate some beef tendons off of the side of the road just like in the original Hue SoJournaling Vietnam videos, and and we said goodbye to them and went to a restaurant to eat some nem, which are grilled pork sausages, and some banh khoai or some wannabe stiff banh xeos that I have never tried before. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and night of eating. By the end I was ready to explode. Check back soon for a few more Hue videos.
This video was filmed in January.

My highlights from Imperial Hue to Magical Hoi An//Vietnam travel//solo female traveler
What an awesome time exploring the Imperil city of Hue, seeing the Imperial Palace, a kings tomb, and a beautiful pagoda!
And the Unesco world heritage city of Hoi An was no disappointment either, the old town is lit up with lanterns at night. Enjoyed a vespa food tour which hands down was a big highlight of the week. Never thought you'd find me on the back of a bike, but the team of drivers are so safe and was an awesome time getting around. Also took a bike tour through some rice fields to an organic farming village, even tried our hand at farming. All in all Hue and Hoi An are unique and beautiful cities that has a lot to offer!
.
Hi! I'm Cheraya, a Minnesota girl, and I'm taking a year off work brewing coffee to travel around the world. I love to explore and experience new to me destinations and places that are rich in culture and history. To see what I get up to, and maybe learn along with me, join me on this crazy, exciting adventure.

TALLEST BUDDHA STATUE IN VIETNAM - Hoi An to Hue Day Trip!
Travelling between Hoi An and Hue, Katie and I decided to stop and check out some of the top sights!
Our first stop was Marble Mountain, then on to the Lady Buddha (Linh Ung Pagoda), and finally through the Hai Van Pass. We wanted to check out the tallest buddha in vietnam while on our vietnam day tours. We made the best of our ride to Hue and it was a great day! We stopped for a nice lunch on the water and also got to see the Pagoda of Hue in the rain! Hue to Hoi An Day trip or Hoi An to Hue Day Trip is a long way to go, but something worth looking into if you're not able to stay in both!
Check back in a couple days when we explore the best things to see in Hue in one day!

We continue our trip towards the north of VIETNAM and we make a little stop in the ancient Vietnamese capital HUE. Since it was once the home of the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty, our first visit was to the IMPERIAL CITADEL.
But it was mainly our second stop that took our breath away. After having discovered it on Instagram, we decided to check out the famous ABANDONED WATERPARK. It was an awesome adventure.

Hue To Dong Hoi by Bike - Vietnam Travel Vlog
From Hue we hit the road to Dong Hoi, with a short stop to share what we consider to be a significant landmark in Vietnams history, Hiền Lương Bridge.
This was the literal divide between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam/American war and where a lot of the political side of events took places.
Another good ride day with a mix of dry and wet weather, a few close calls and an accident that we weren't involved in.
We'd love it if you liked and shared this video, so others who haven't yet heard of us, also get a chance to share in the experience. Thanks :)

Time Piece by Silent Partner
We are Leon and Tash, a New Zealand vlogging couple who set off on an amazing Vietnam adventure as fulltime travellers, backpacking Vietnam. But we weren't going to travel to Vietnam for one of those ordinary backpacking Vietnam trips you hear about everybody doing, where they go for a couple off weeks and check out the beaches or maybe riding through Vietnam at such a crazy pace that they never get off the beaten track. No we want more than that.
Our Vietnam adventures start with learning the way of the locals, taking just enough time to figure out how things work, discover what the Must see places in Vietnam are and more importantly where Vietnam's hidden gems are...
To do this, we moved to Danang Vietnam. The plan was to spend 3 months living in Da Nang, meeting and learning from locals about the culture, the amazing food, their way of living and what places they would recommend to travel in Vietnam.
And because Danang is in the middle of the country, we hoped we might meet other tourists or expats who were having their own Vietnam travel adventure or were at the halfway point of motorcycle riding through Vietnam and hear from them, what places they thought we must visit in Vietnam. Also, as new travel vloggers, having a base there meant we could try things like doing Da Nang Vietnam travel vlog or creating a Danang Vietnam travel guide, before also taking on the stresses of fulltime travel.
Then in month 4, that's when the real Vietnam adventure begins. With our new list of must see places, we will head to Saigon and buy a couple of motorbikes. to start our Vietnam road trip!
Motorcycle riding through Vietnam seems like one of the most hectic, crazy and chaotic things anyone could do, but we can't wait!! And we wont be following a simple South to North / Saigon to Hanoi route, we plan on doing more like a figure 8, so that our travel in Vietnam will cover both the inland and coastal areas of this amazing country.
So can we still say we are backpacking Vietnam? Or should we be telling people our travel in Vietnam is a motorcycle trip through Vietnam? We're not sure, but what we do know is, our Vietnam road trip is going to cover over 6000km's from Saigon right up to the famous waterfalls of Ban Gioc near Cao Bang, round the northern point of the Ha Giang loop and everything else we can access in between.
So we hope you'll join us, the New Zealand vlogging couple, on our Vietnam adventure by clicking subscribe to join the Tribe and experience our travel in Vietnam..
HUE motorbike tour - VIETNAM
Fifth day of my trip in Vietnam with G-Adventures, Hike, bike, kayak tour.
Here I talk about Vietnamese breakfast and food, share my experience motorbiking through Thanh Toan village, visiting a rice museum, the vegan temple Thien Mu Pagoda, finding out how to make incense, eating vegan lunch, flying a drone over the Bunker Hill along the Perfume river, ride a train for 13 hours to Hanoi!
