Store Bay Beach, Tobago
My friend Amy, visited Trinidad & Tobago for the first time a couple weeks ago. Due to time constraints, we only got to spend one day in Tobago, but we made the most of it.
In part 1 of our Tobago trip, we are at Store Bay at 8am. We got breakfast at Sylvia's, and then relaxed on the beach while we waited to hop on the glass-bottom boat to go in the Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool. It was truly a calm, relaxed day. Hope you enjoy!

4K Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago) Walking to Store Bay Beach - Sept 2017
In the video I am on the island of Tobago, of Trinidad and Tobago. I am walking from the Coco Reef Resort. This is in the Crown Point area near the airport. I am walking to what some have told me is the best beach, called Store Bay Beach.

Pluses:
Location, pool area, gardens, location of restaurant. only had one meal which was fine but not exceptional. Staff good. Hot water and air con in room good. Checked out the hotel a few days prior to staying and there was no record of our booking. Seems Trinidad main office had not passed it on. Could have been roomless if had not checked prior to arrival.
Comfortable room with easy access to pool and amenities
Swimming pool n Jacuzzi are value for money.
Minuses:
Room poor. Dark, no mirror, towel rail or plug in bathroom. No way of turning off lights when in bed other than walking across the room. Terrace(ground floor room) had large puddle at edge due to leaking gutter. No chairs in room. Decor shabby. Sliding door to terrace difficult to lock and maid left it open. No safe or fridge in room.
No wifi in rooms, pool area and jacuzzi not lighted adequately at nights
Breakfast selection is very limited. There needs to be more variety.

Store Bay is located within walking distance from the Crown Point Airport, Tobago's sole airport. You can literally step off the plane and walk towards the beach. It is surrounded by guest houses and hotels. Many people who visit Tobago spend their entire time near this beach, then simply walk back to the airport to head home. It is one of the most popular beaches in Tobago - but there are lots more, as the rest of this tour would show.
I visited Tobago for the period Aug 13th - 17th with my children. We arrived (by boat) just before 5:00pm and still decided to head down to Store Bay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with this fantastic sunset scene. I was so much taken up with the scene that I did not talk much about Store Bay itself. On the morning of 17th, just before leaving Tobago, we returned to Store Bay and took a few more photos. The comments on the shots do give a summary of the Store Bay experience.
