I Remember Why-Boise Greenbelt

When Meridian Idaho feels crowded, congested and noisy, we get out for a few hours.

Grab the longboards, swimsuits and dog, we are headed to the Boise Green belt.

Skate for a while and then pull off the path and jump into the cool waters of the Boise river.

Skate a little more and then jump off the bridge into the swift flowing river.

Now I remember why I moved my family here to Idaho.

Meridian Idaho is crowded, noisy and heavily congested. Resembles the San Fernando Valley in So Cal.

When I feel sad that this city looks nothing like it did 10 years ago, I now that I need to get out of town.

One of our favorite nearby spots is the Boise green belt.

Now I remember why.

When you can't find some peace and quiet, get out to the river, desert and mountains.

His fingerprint is everywhere.

New Bark Park Mural

Costa Mesa artist Josh Madrid recently finished painting a new mural on the building at Costa Mesa Bark Park. The Mandala Style project where shapes emanate from a center point is colorful, creative and meaningful in different ways to different onlookers.

Dogs take over Portland Timbers game for T2's Bark in the Park

T2, the Portland Timbers' USL team, allowed supporters to bring their dogs to Saturday's game against the Real Monarchs as part of the club's first-ever Bark in the Park event. T2 played the first-place Real Monarchs to a scoreless draw as hundreds of dogs howled, barked and wagged their tails in support.
