FITCHES BRIDGE | Delaware County
In 1870, James Frazier and James Warren built a covered bridge at Kingston Street in Delhi, spanning the West Branch Delaware River. Fifteen years later the bridge was moved three miles upstream to its current location in East Delhi, and Kingston Bridge became known as Fitches Bridge.
With an overall length of 106 feet, the one-lane covered bridge is constructed with a lattice truss design, incorporating diagonally placed planks held together with large wooden pegs, or treenails. Today, it is one of only ten covered bridges in the state utilizing this type of construction.
In 1999, the bridge was listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places, and has been extensively restored and rehabilitated twice, most recently in 2001. Today, Fitches Bridge holds the distinction of having served transportation needs continuously for over 140 years, all the while providing a picturesque setting for travelers, artists and photographers.
Spanning the river, and surrounded by mountains, the bridge forms a picture-postcard scene and is an iconic landmark of the Catskill Mountain region. One of four covered bridges in Delaware County, today Fitches Bridge serves as a covered Path Through History.

What is the story behind this video?
#AnilStory4
Vermont is in the New England region of the United States. The Green Mountain State is known for its beautiful fall foliage and its maple syrup. We went to see fall foliage and stayed there for 3 days. During our trip we visited Derby Line, VT. which is well known for the Haskell Free Library and Opera House, which was built on the international border of the USA and Canada.
And also we visited stowe a small beautiful town in vermont. We biked stowe recreation path and also completed a corn maze.
Enjoy the video!

The Pocket Book of Boners - 1931
The Cat in the Hat- 1957
How the Grinch Stole Christmas! - 1957
Green Eggs and Ham - 1960
The Lorax - 1971
Oh, the Places You'll Go! - 1990
#HowtheGrinchStoleChristmas! is a children's story by Theodor Dr. Seuss Geisel written in rhymed verse with illustrations by the author. It follows #theGrinch a grouchy, solitary creature, his only companion is his unloved, but loyal dog, Max. The #Grinch attempts to put an end to Christmas by stealing Christmas-themed items from the homes of the nearby town Whoville on Christmas Eve. Despite his efforts, Whoville's inhabitants still celebrate the holiday, so the Grinch returns everything that he stole and is the guest of honor at the Whos' Christmas dinner.
The #CatintheHat is a children's story that centers on a tall anthropomorphic cat, who wears a red and white-striped hat and a red bow tie. The Cat shows up at the house of Sally and her unnamed brother one rainy day when their mother is away. Ignoring repeated objections from the children's fish, the Cat shows the children a few of his tricks in an attempt to entertain them.

THE HASKELL FREE LIBRARY & OPERA HOUSE: DUAL CITIZEN
This video features a unique historical building that straddles the border between Derby Line, Vermont, USA, and Stanstead, Quebec, Canada. The film shows the building's ornate drop curtain of 1904 painted by Irwin LaMoss, century-old graffiti in the dressing rooms, and the library's reading room intersected by the Line marking the border between the countries. Interviews with Matthew Farfan, Vice-president, and Nancy Rummery, Librarian. The drop curtain is Object No. 44 in the English-speaking Quebec in 100 Objects, a project of the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Association (QAHN) in Quebec, Canada. Visit 100objects.qahn.org to see the story of this object, and photos and stories of 99 other fascinating objects that together form a portrait of the English-speaking minority in Quebec.
